Awesome! I personally have been using furled leaders for over 10 years now, I prefer it over the Bimini Twist because it's easier to do and works just as well if not better. In a pinch, when you need a heavier leader, this will work too if you're running with light line.

Wow that was a great explanation of furled leaders. I am definitely going to be experimenting with this technique in my fishing rigs. I see some great possibilities for vertical jigging applications amongst some others. Thanks for posting this video.

I think that would work well for abrasion resistance as well. Will have to experiment and see if it helps

Yeah, man, I use these all the time with my handlines. Some people complain about it catching too much water. Don't worry about that. These furled leaders work, and they have a good bit of shock. I use them as shock leaders.
