In my humble opinion, it was and remains the best WoW movie of all time. It's what inspired me in WoW and it's beautifully put together. Those were the days. 40 man vanilla raids - multiple mage spells going in, awesome tanks, melee who got stuck in and...healers that simply held it all together. I became an MT raid healer in a major guild, then a mage, then a raid leader and finally a guild master because of this. Thank you.
@TheJmaillard110 жыл бұрын
awesome tanks? i was a tank in vanilla and i could just go afk for half the fight and still hold aggro with auto-attack ;p raid become good only in TBC in vanilla it was long and tedious to raid...

I saw this movie more than hundred times when I was level 60, really like the way they presented.

@@TheJmaillard1 Your guild must have had shit dps if you could maintain aggro with auto-attack. The golden rule of tanking was: sunder armor, and thats it.

I spent hours downloading it back in 2005. The video is amazing, it is also cool, that you all were equipped with t1 (at least visible pieces) which made it look even more epic - farming bwl in just full t1)

This video literally drove my evolution into WoW. Granted I'm long removed from the game, but I remember being a simple and oblivious peon. After watching this, I made a choice to change and climb the prestige ladder. One simple video turned a nobody into an owner of 7/9 T3, completion of every top tier raid through T11, and membership in 2 top 100 guilds. Well-orchestrated masterpieces like this are powerful tools.

For lucky people..... if i recall did normal SoO about 7 times with my guild and got 3 pieces, 1 bonus rolled, 1 because no one else needed and the last item someone else won but master looter gave to me by accident but id already gemmed it so i couldnt give it back. Not everyone is lucky...... also last 2 weeks of my H SoO runs we clear first 8 bosses ive only gotten 1 item each run.

The olden days of 'hardcore' raiding. You didnt have to be hardcore, you just had to put the work in and know your class. My old guilds back was broken by the Red fury. I miss the FD, eat tricks... the Pali run away and rez the noobs. Was lucky enough to get in for a Nef kill night before BC came... LFR this place up @ 60!!!! Give the wrath babies a taste of pain when someone not dispelling was going to cause a raid wipe! I would lvl another toon to 60 for this!
@sxeros12 жыл бұрын
The game wasn't hard because the fights actually were hard by mechanics, but it was hard because things you wanted to do took ages to do. Gearchecks were much more serious concern in there, take example your raid needing Onyxia Scale Cloak when facing Nefarian. Take into addition that people were simply worse back then, and people have drastically improved in gaming. I respect Classic raiders, and bow to what they did achieve as shown in this movie, but I won't be insulted for misconceptions.
