Indeed Vangelis work on Blade Runner was Astonishing to say the least. Most people dont realize just how much of his music and performance is in the film. its not simply the musical tracks that he made, he also created all the scoring and foley. much of the background sounds voices and all varied elements is him. his samples and arrangements. He gave the city of LA life, a third character as they say.. Without him BladeRunner well.. wouldn't be BladeRunner. and to marry his music with such incredible visuals. I tell ya BR is a film i can watch on a daily basis. It certainly reflects much of my life. past and present. Nothing was more incredible than walking the streets of Manhattan at night with the soundtrack playing in ear. talk about living and breathing within the film in realtime. memories. as for this cover.. cant believe you pulled it off so well. gave it somewhat of a flamenco twist. but it works so well. hats off to you. that was no easy task because its designed with the slurry nature of wind instruments and its very hard to translate such emotion thru the immediacy of strumming guitar strings. bravo.

Really lovely interpretation Frano, well done and thanks! My dad plays the saxophone on the original soundtrack (Dick Morrissey), I listen to the Love Theme from Bladerunner every now and then when I miss him ;)

You captured all the nuances and emotion of the original score, and made it your own. Wonderful to listen.

If music ever told a story without lyrics, this one has my vote! Turning a classic in to a masterpiece. Its as much what is between the notes..pure dynamics and heart..bravo!!

Great stuff Buddy! Very evocative. Funny thing I'd often wondered how you'd do with a slide seeing as you like to coax more and more beautifil sounds out of the old orange box. Very beautiful and thoughtful performance.

Hi Frano, You radiate great self-confidence. One could believe you play purely for your own pleasure. That makes listening just as much a pleasure for me. BTW: The sound was great. Who did the recording? It's really worth plugging in the expensive headphones. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! Wish the guitar pickup system was a bit better to capture the acoustic sound more as it sounds a bit more electronic with current setup.
