Blade & Soul NA Sandstorm Temple Rukesh Guide

A guide for the final boss (Rukesh) in Sandstorm Temple.
Attack Pattern:
1. 2-hit frontal blockable attacks.
2. Slams with each fist (blockable) and swipes the room.
3. 2-hit frontal blockable attacks.
4. Room wide unblockable AoE (his back is safe), followed by linear AoE underneath of him.
5. Room wide AoE created outer and then hits inner.
6. Claw attack (blockable).
7. Attack pattern repeats.
Note: Getting by any red (ublockable) attacks results in gaining Blood Serpent debuff stacks which detonate when hit by his yellow attacks.
Regular Mechanics: Normal Mode 80%/30% - Hard Mode 90%/60%/30%
1. Prompts via message, "Rukesh creates a Glyph to unlock Mystic Powers".
2. 3-hit room wide AoE.
3. X number of circles will light up. Normal Mode (80% = 2 circles, 30% = 4 circles. Hard Mode (90% = 2 circles, 60% = 4 circles, 30% = 2 circles).
4. Does 2 types of room wide AoEs.
5. When Rukesh searches for someone to judge; he will mark the two furthest players. Confirmed by the EYE icon above their heads.
6. 4-hit room wide AoE
7. Grabs the furthest of the two markers and attempts to do an instant wipe attack. CC here.
8. The grabbed marker has a unique buff called Obsidian Serpent.
9. Rukesh spams random AoEs around the room for a total of ten times.
10. The marker with Obsidian Serpent buff must NOT get hit by this. As it will remove their buff. This only applies in hard mode
11. Once the message, "Rukesh unleashes his wrath" that is when the markers each step into their own circle.
12. The boss will absorb and success is when you see it says he is weakened. This deals 5% damage to his health and ends the phase.
Pillar Mechanics: Normal Mode 50% - Hard Mode 70%/40%
1. Prompted by the message, "Rukesh judges with his Allseeing Gaze."
2. A barrier is formed around the room. Touching it will result in any stack(s) of the Blood Serpent to explode.
3. Each player will be marked one at a time with either a Pillar or Bomb.
4. Try not to overlap the pillars as they will result in a high damage shock wave.
5. After everyone has been marked with a pillar or bomb, the boss will do a shock wave AoE.
6. His shock wave AoE will cause all the pillars to emit shock waves.
7. Shock waves can be jumped over.
PS
- In later phases markers must step into the SAME set of circles.
- The marker with Obsidian Serpent buff (grabbed) can lose the buff if hit by any of the AoE spam. This applies to hard mode only.

hey there, very helpful tutorial and well played. but i still have doubt not about the mechs itself but how u used kfm instead. can i know how do you get back to the boss after being knock-back/knock down by using ss without looking at the opposite direction of boss? is it just fast hard or.......?
