Very nice. I was hoping you would build one of these kits. I don’t know what Jody’s skill level is, but I have to assume you’re the best at modding amongst the reviewers I watch. Maybe one day I will give it a go. I actually like several of their watches. Thanks for the great video!

I struggled with the GMT hand due to lateral alignment mostly and messed up the date change at 12. Seconds hands, even now are a hit and a miss, it needs to perfectly level which is hard.

What a great well thought out gift for someone who is just starting out modding/building, and the end product looks great too. Is it cheaper to get everything from different places? Sure, but part of this kits value is the fact that it’s all there at once, well packaged and presented. Thanks for sharing.

It may not be that much cheaper to get everything separate, a big part is the watch. Plus you get the benefit of having everything together in one place

I would leave out Rodico from dial. It leaves nice fatty stains. Trust me. Air blower and Q tips are enough. Also polished watch hands can get a mark or two from Rodico. Got the same movement holder, before I bought Bergeon 4040. But that plastic thingy is more then enough. I got Vetus too I think these are essential if you work on a movement and their plastic tip one for the dial and hands. Thank God we do not have to buy everything PRO. I guess this is a hobby where there is less hobby and more pro tools that cost a lot. Thank you China for bringing hobby tools for us all.

Im tempted to buy the blue hands kit but, man its expensive. The tools they include seems adequate. I build my own stuff and sell it on facebook, what seems to me is the quality of materials seems to look better than your typical AliExpress/Ebay parts. Is this the case? Hands, dial, case, strap, caseback.

Its so so man, some stuff is better but there is no such thing as all in one. This kit does have some really nice stuff but with ali u can get high quality things, you just need to search and know what good quality looks like just from pics. I.e. flat mm300 hands vs the ones with brushing and polishing. The beauty with companies like this is they use a consistent and high quality parts supplier

I am just getting into watches and have never attempted anything likes this. For the price should I wait for these to go on discount of more than 30% ? Or is that a good deal. Not sure if to wait and see over Black Friday or holiday. Discounts..

Well you Definitely threw me off chosing a black IP variant knowing it's not your fave Ok I'm definitely going to blame you entirely for getting me into modding watches and I haven't looked back since Going on two years now and I have to say it's one of the most satisfying and frustrating things as well with the hobby Currently I'm working on a Tuna that I'm converting into a GMT with the NH 34 parts have been interesting to say the least When I successfully complete this Franken Mod I'll Email you a few completed pics Stay Frosty my friend and Thanks for another killer video as well 👍

Just letting you know that Blu- tac and Rodico are different. Blu-tac should not be used on watches it is to oily.

Comparing this kit to a pro modder is like Lego vs Airfix - both similar concepts of building stuff but Lego is easier and takes less skill and Airfix is for big boys - I for one am a big boy 😂
