Iv'e had these and have used them long term so here are so here are some extra things 1. the laces on my right foot wore out and snapped after...2 to 3 weeks of regular use 2. the wheels are only 78a hardness so they were gone after 3 hours of outdoors skating (way to soft to last) 3. the bearings will very easily build up dirt and debris (after a few times around the park i skated at they started to make an audible grinding noise...yes there was some play sand on the ground) 4. with larger skaters there is a noticeable flex in the plastic frame and boot (to be far when I started i was 6.4 and 260+lbs) 5. after breaking in the skate I noticed that the boot displaced and stretched to the point of being to lose no matter how much I tightened it (lots of unusual flex at the arch and toes of the skate) 6. the hardware started to break and strip at the heads just after a few wheel rotation (yes i was using the tools it came with)

the heel brake is actually really effective at stopping if you do it properly, maybe even more so than T-stopping. I think most people just don't really know that you have to sit your butt down into it and get a good knee bend so that you can forcefully push into the ground. Shaun of Shop Task did a video comparing different braking methods at high speed and he was able to stop the fastest with the heel brake. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6iQlXqJnZtkp5Y

nice review, but one little nit-pick I have is that the heel brake is actually a really effective method for stopping if you know how to do it properly. If you ever watch inline downhill racing it's not too uncommon to see racers using a heel brake because it is such an effective tool for stopping at high speeds. I generally recommend beginner skaters stick with the heel brake until they've acquired the balance necessary to effectively t-stop on a downhill. Shaun from Shop Task has a great video on how to use the heel brake kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqnagJ6lhtqbrbc
