It must be formatted to fat32.

@@amnNS5 It’s a memory format. It’s the only one a DSi will accept. If your sd card is 32GB or less it should be FAT32 by default but you can always check by putting it in a computer. If it’s a different format you’ll need to change it to FAT32.

At 10:18 if you look at the menu you can set the twilight menu to a certain button combo for when you turn the dsi on. He set it to no button so it immediately launches to twilight. Im sure you could do it that way

Well, it kinda depends on what you want to do with your DSi. If you only want to run game backups, you can probably just use the R4. If you want to run some of the other types of home-brew, modding makes sense to unlock your system and use those kinds of apps.
