Very nice room! It’s pretty awesome to stay at a monorail resort. When we lived in Florida, I sprung for a night at the Contemporary when a good AP rate popped up. Bucket list goal accomplished, always wanted to stay that close to MK. Hope you had a great trip.

So special!! When I went to Disney World as a child (which I am blessed to say was often) we always stayed at the Grand Floridian!! You truly feel like you are transported back in time to the victorian age.

Hi Blair! Thank you for sharing this lovely room tour. It's so special! We visited the Grand Floridian at Christmastime, when we had a "resort hopping" day. It was our first time at Disney World! The Gingerbread house was amazing and the pianist will always be my favorite. 🎶 The GF is such a beautiful and magical resort.✨ Many blessings to you and your hubby. Love this room!!! I meant to comment the other day but I was watching this on my tv with Justin and he was laughing because of Riley laying on the couch instead of the bed... whenever we get into a new room I won’t let Justin on the bed until I’ve filmed a room tour and he was totally in husband solidarity and we just had a good laugh about it. Anyway, what a magical room and a dream come true!

So very lovely! We were in 5237 and our room was very similar to yours, except we didn’t have a vaulted ceiling or the pretty chair in the corner. Our balcony was larger though and the patio door was the double sized sliding type. We also didn’t get the little flower arrangements so that was special pixie dust just for you!

Lindsay Stewart most hotels have more double queen bed rooms and fewer king bed rooms as lots of times there is more families or people requiring 2beds then couples.

There are ways to request them and some resorts allow you to book a king guaranteed. For example, Coronado Springs.
