So they are completely erasing Justin Baldoni like he didn’t star in & direct the movie. This is so ugly.

It really takes away from the excitement of the movie 😢 he’s the only one who seems passionate about the message too, Blake lively talks about it like it’s a rom com and not about domestic violence. It’s like Blake YOU ARE A WOMAN

The fact that people don’t get why they’re not focusing on the DV aspect of it is wild to me. It’s like they’ve never seen a movie or press run before. It’s not being presented like a romcom. The trailer doesn’t give that in the slightest. Anyone who thinks so is a moron in my opinion. The reason they’re not labeling it as a DV movie is 1) Most people would likely not go see it. 2) They’d make up in their minds how it was gonna play out and miss out. 2) it’s about more than the violence Lilly experiences and witnesses but the resiliency she has within herself to not let it become her child’s future. 3) It’s so that those who are in that situation (who are often in denial and want to bury their head in the sand) will hopefully go see it and be able to see themselves in Lilly enough to know they have what it takes to get out. This is literally simple psychology but it’s like people can’t get passed their own butt hurt egos to stop and think. The fact that the cast and author not mentioning the director as if it’s his book is wild. Yes he directed it and fought for it. Yay. He did what creatives do. But it’s not a disregard of him as a person. Unless you were on set or part of the marketing team you don’t know why that is. It could either be a very valid and/or calculated decision for the sake of the film.

@@cheriebenjamin0315 this is such a weird take. No ones talking about the trailer were talking about the press tour! And yes Blake is absolutely promoting it as a romcom in interviews and on her instagram! She wants people to think this is a movie about a woman who owns a flower shop and wears quirky clothes w a side of romance because that's all she's talked about! Im not saying they should label it as a DV film but i do think its important to mention it in interviews and help raise awareness, after all that's why Justin bought the rights to the movie so they can make something important! I've also seen videos of people having to walk out because they had no idea it was about DV and that's triggering for a lot of people. I think its pretty clear at this point that there was drama on set specifically between Blake and Justin and its obvious (by everyone's interviews) that Blake took over and everyone followed her... This being a calculated PR move could be true (like u said, i wasnt there) but makes zero sense since Blake and Colleen change the subject every time they're asked about Justin (not Ryle) and they all unfollowed him.

I know he admitted to not being perfect but holy shit... Blake got visibly uncomfortable with the mention of Justin... how could we not talk about him... and to say that she did everything else as if Justin didn't do soooooo much on this film... are you kidding... I don't understand how he made things so uncomfortable... this doesn't make sense to me. I would like an explanation... this is upsetting.

The leg shakes, the drinking from costars during Blakes replies.. every time Blake takes over an a interview by having been given ONE question and the way she cuts in and interrupts every costars replies. Its all about her. The unrelatable replies. The way Blake seem to do this in most interviews. When combined with hurting others (if they don’t do what she wants), well then there is a name for that type of personality.

But after watching different interviews and seeing the difference in the way Justin and her respond I am appalled. She has not even acknowledged him at all. At this point it's still unclear what really when down, but to see that Justin doesn't throw shades to her, and for her to giving these bitter comments that she could have withold to herself shows who is the mature and bigger person. That said, even just the way she talks over Brandon while he tries to answer a question directed to him shows how egocentric she can be. And she doesn't do it on this interview only. She've been cutting people while they talk in all the interviews I've seen. It's always "I" and it's always about herself.

There’s something going on. Their must’ve been some major disagreement or awkward interaction. Because not only is the director not there, he’s the actor that brings the major drama to the project. So if you wanted people/fans not to talk it’d be best to have Justin in as well

@@surrealsm123 well I try not go that extreme but you did pick up on something. She gives on the impression of person who’s trying to control the moment or the situation. Rather than let life kindve manifest naturally. Like I heard other comments say shes talking too much and people do that when they want control and they want things to go a certain way. But it can become annoying to people around a person like that after a steady diet of the behavior.

Colleen comes across as a user and social climber. She sold Justin the rights but as soon as Blake and Ryan got involved she latched onto that gravy train. She is a very very average writer. Having read this book …I think she is using the devastating topic of DV for profit. She even sold nail polish and coloring books off this film. Just like Blake selling her hair and booze products. Not for charity either.
