For those who don't know, BTS will be taking time to work on themselves individually and to take a break so that they can come back stronger than ever (they will still be doing some group work, but not as much). i agree with you, i learned the members names by noticing their different singing and rapping voices first becasue it was so distinguishable from each other. i’ve always thought that’s a main reason why BTS work and sound so good together is because no two members sound alike unlike in other kpop and groups in general.

The melody is so pretty and something about it screams nostalgia to me, seeing all the references from day 1 to now I was in tears by the end of it lol. I think the chill vibe and the expressions on their faces represents contentment, not in a “this is it” way but more so “we’re closing this chapter and writing a new one.” It’s been really cool to see them grow up and evolve💜

Also this is alternative hiphop, just a reminder bc it might help you stay away from certain music genres if it's not to your taste. Okay so only long-term armys or those armys who has been following them closely will really understand this MV. Rm and Tae mentioned that this is for all the fans who have been with them throughout these long 9 years on this journey! It's a throwback and homage to their entire discography soo far! Here's all the references you missed (in the order as you move through the mv): - the formation they are sitting in is the "Just one day" formation - The shot of the truck is similar to the one from the BTS: on stage prologue - Jin instead of looking down looks up : reference to life goes on mv - Tae's outfit and rose is reminiscent of "Boy in Luv (he is wearing a uniform) - Jin's outfit is from the DNA era - the same merry go round from "Spring day" - Blood, sweat and tears statue in the background - Jimin looks down at a shoe (reference to spring day where he picks a shoe up while at the beach) He is also wearing his spring day outfit here - Namjoon in the "I need you" era with the same truck that has the same number behind him - Hobi is wearing an outfit similar to the one in the LY highlight reel and the train behind is from Spring Day - Reference to the euphoria shot where they were all in a truck - Yoongi and the piano : "First love" reference - Blood, sweat and tears reference but Taehyung and Jin swapped roles. - Same yellow bus from No more dream, their first MV - Jk does the same pose as he did in "Butterfly" - They recreated the exact same scene from the Spring Day MV here (pretty sure I missed some but other armys can add to it)

Idk if you're an ARMY or not but if you are, you should have known BTS better, what this album is about and that BTS don't do such "excuse" kind of stuff. And BTS is not your other idols or artists. They may do such stuff cause they don't have "new and good quality content", but BTS don't. Everything BTS makes is a quality content, incuding the 5 new songs in the Proof album. As we know, BTS just announced that they will pursue individuals schedules for now and take some break to grow as individuals. With you not using the English subtitles, you don't get so much of the references to their past (so many nostalgic things-Spring Day, Blood, Sweat & Tears, etc.-and I love that RM said "spitting bars" as I think he, Suga and J-Hope will focus more on their rapping (if you haven't listened to Cypher, they are so amazing), in what lies ahead. I understand the loosing tension at the end 😂 Like I need mooorreeee… Blake is a new reactor, but I like how he try to understand them in technical aspect. But imo, BTS member individually can soar high but when they come together as a team, they will tone down their individuality to make their sound or dance move coherent with the others. As such, BTS might not give us ‘best pop’ or ‘best rap’ because they will forever in between, a hybrid. And i dont think its bothered them. They will keep singing for Army, and Army will always supporting them. Keep in mind that this is their anthology album so we are looking back to past in order to moving forward hence thats the reason why there are a lot of meaning to every single scene. Each of it represents their old mv and ofc their old songs. For example, if you noticed, the bus was from no more dreams mv and it probably means that they are still themselves from the moment they debuted and they've never forgotten their roots also they are going forward for more music as taehyung said "..but my best is what comes next" and for the bus scene instead of using train like spring day mv they ride the no more dreams bus for the new chapter 💜

I think all 7 members have voices that sound unique to each other so I found it interesting you said sometimes they sound similar. This music video is full of references to their older music videos. It's definitely an ending to their first chapter as a group. I think this might be their last album before they enlist in the military by the end of the year. I think it can get confusing when they go into high notes and falsetto if you don’t know their voices that well because the higher the note the harder it is to hear the tone and that’s what’s so unique about their voices, all the tones are so different. This song is so emotional!! This song sounds kind of like their older songs but newer!!! The Unnerving feeling I think it is because their is a high possibility that they will go serve in the military or be more focused on their solo careers…however it still gives off hopeful vibes. Like JK said in the song, “Promise I’ll keep coming back for more…” This song totally represents what BTS is all about since the beginning; fighting for their dreams and sending positivity… I respectfully disagree about their vocals being hard to figure who is who. All their voice are very distinct. I learned who was singing so fast. However I do understand with they are singing in higher falsetto’s sometime or using autotune sometimes…Majority of the time I can still figure it out pretty quick…They do blend really well together with the though… I personally love this song!!!
