6:08 Speaking of Trial Decks having mainly Vanilla/Skilled-based units, it wasn't really until the 2016 Trial Decks GIRS CRISIS (Chronojet with Time Leap & Harri with Magia) where Trial deck cards would actually have skills that genuinely help towards the end goal of putting your opponent to 6 dmg. It could be played as a regular vanilla deck or slowly progress you into a better player. The Trial Decks during Break Ride Era (2012-2013) were pretty good, introducing sub archetypes/subclans within Clans but the TDs still rely heavily on cards that just beef themselves up to try to give your opponent big unga bunga damage.

20:06 Fun fact, most power lanes would hit for 18-19k, but if you wanted to reach magic number it had to be at least 21-23k 👀 which CEO Amaterasu was like the only one who could do that efficiently, reaching 24k when boosted by Milk :)

Something to think about for future fights is to make it 2 out of 3 bc it can show more of the deck (hopefully) instead of the one fight where u can't show the power of the decks like how u couldn't find overlord

@@aigakomine You might think so, but there’s so many I’d love to see: Tsukuyomi, Blaukluger, Giraffa, Soul Saver, Amon, Alice, Perfect Raizer, General Siegfried - the list is endless!

@@warwickdavies5171 Ironically I played like 4-5 of those decks you mentioned & yea, still need to wait for like set 5 till most of the good stuff. Siegfried is just generic try to hit 4 attacks last one doesn't really hit for anything past 16k it isn't good until like Dudley Emperor comes in. Tsukuyomi it's very slow until you actually manage to stack your deck way into the late game, same with Soul Saver very slow. Giraffa it's oki you can hit 20k columns but its conditional at best :p Really all these decks start splurging once they get Limit break support, other than that they're mostly Vanilla.

Here's the thing about the new quick deck....it is use to teach new players who dont know anything about vg thats why there are numbers on the card much like that 1 pokemon box besides, the skill version of the QSD are in the booster

@@CurlyHairedVanguard Set 7 is where Great Nature is first playable so that's the first set that matters lol. Even though turns out there's no Coiling Duckbill or Parrot in Set 7 so I cannot imagine what you'd do without those 2.

You really grow to appreciate VG more when you play another TCG where winning against a meta deck with a non-meta deck is a non-existant pipedream. Like, Alden isn't gonna make any BCS or Springfest topping lists but it can at least put up a reasonable fight and keep up even get wins here and there. Other TCGs that's not the case short of the meta deck hard bricking or something.
