Hello Dear , My Blaupunkt keylargo 970 was working fine till yesterday and today its not stuck on the Andriod Logo and doesn't go beyond this...What could be the problem?

Hi, I have Key Largo 970 installed in my car. Recently it is restarting continuously. Turns on for sometime plays music and in 2 to 3mins it restarts. Can you please help what could be the reason.

Did you get any canbus or something else installed to use bottom buttons? My call hangup and pickup buttons are not geting paired.

As far as ai know no extra canbus was used for mapping them. They were mapped along with other steering wheel buttons.

Hi, thank you for such a detailed review. since key largo 980 is available I was looking for it. My basic intention is to have Google maps and music from any app or phone. do the issues you mentioned present in key largo 980 as well? Recently I watched review of uno minda with provision of 4g Sim, does Blaupunkt any model has this facility? I think with built-in Sim, maps and music would run faster? Also set up available is 2GB 16 GB or even 4 GB 64 GB.... T5 processor. Your expert view will help me to select android unit which suit my requirements. Thanks a ton

Hey... I have not used 980 personally yet but from the videos and many subscribers feedback it seems to be much better than the 970. The booting has been speedened up and the Android Auto mode I showed also works which is unbeatable. Blaupunkt doesn't have inbuilt sim option and it wouldn't improve the performance, but just convenience. Processer and software optimisation is the key. I think you can go with 980.

Hi... Glad you liked it. The sound output is not great but it's good and it's same as my stock stereo without any degradation. So I found it better than Chinese stereos but not as great as Pioneer/Sony.

Hey no option for only routing the audio. The only solution is keeping BT connected so the stereo call mode activates, but it takes the whole screen

Are there any upgrades available to Android 10, since 980 is on android 10 maybe we can download that firmware? Also i dont have google play or any google apps on my 970. Is there a setting to enable this? I’ve been using the Carlinkit for apple carplay. It works like a charm. But i also want yo watch video tht why im curious about playstore.

Hey... We cannot install 980 firmware as they are not compatible. Even 970 from different years cannot be flashed with same firmware. Regarding playstore you need to activate if from factory settings. Check my upgrade video where I showed how to turn on playstore setting.

One of friend has recently installed the keylargo 980 in his car...I was so amazed by the performance as it boots up the moment you start the car! Also, the system was soo snappy !! ..is it possible to have the flash the 980's version on 970😅😅 Or they can provide an update to make it a bit more responsive.

Good News for Key Largo 970 users, I tested a firmware which was released on 2022-06-01. I upgraded it on my 9" and using it for past 2 weeks. Definitely, Google maps loading time can not be compared with Android Auto speed but as a user from past 2 years, I would say Google maps functionality loading, Start button speed has drastically improved.

Boot time for me is still 30 seconds as I have customized boot animation. But Blaupunkt original animation also takes 30 seconds for the HUD to show the home screen. Google maps load time with Goog GPS signals and Internet has reduced down by 50%. Searching of route and tapping on Start button has drastic improvements. As a user myself, earlier I was even frustrated with the laggy Navigation loading and operation and switched to Android Auto. But with the new firmware I can still live without Android Auto and go with the Keylargo's GMaps.

That's my 2 cents, however, Android Auto's processing vs Key largo's processing should not be compared in any way.

If we use the App you have mentioned for wireless AA can we get a 60-40 split of the screen like how it is there in actual AA screens

1. No.. Keylargo doesnt allow carlinkkit apk installation. This is the only possible way. 2. I am not sure if its 60-40 split but you do get split screen with Maps and Music Player + messages etc

All issues mentioned by you in 970 have been resolved in updated model 980 and looks like eventually they will stop selling 970 as they give lots of discount on 970 ....

@@itsmepols Ram is the same 2GB. The processor is higher clocked at 1.5ghz on 980 over 1.2ghz on 970... Indepth details of processor would be possible to check by installing some Android app. I am trying to contact 980 users to make comparison too.
