Hi.. i found the video quite helpful. I am using blaupunkt key largo in my Honda city. It is running slightly slow. But i am facing major problem during calling a person. I mainly use google maps for navigation,but whenever I pick up a call it keeps the call menu in forward and there us no way to return to maps till the call is off. So its very hard to navigate and attend a call at same time. Could you check how can we run a call in background while navigation. Thanks in advance e.

Hi there.. thanks for the reply last time. I am facing another major issue with google maps after installing the car launcher app. Earlier google map took around 1-1.5 mins to load and worked perfectly fine after that. Nowadays google map does not start navigation till satellite no reaches atleast 6. Also during driving many times the satellite no drops below 6 and it shouts "GPS signal lost" and then i am lost. It has become a pain now a days. What would you recommend. I haven't changed the location of gps antenna also.

Hi... To be frank the google maps on the stereo is super unreliable. I did face such situations too. I gave up and now using Android Auto mode which is very much reliable and smooth. Will be posting a video by next week in hiw to use it. Stay tuned.

Hi... Google maps loads pretty slow but once it loads it's decent. Sharp turn might have issues. If you check my other video of phone link, I showed how to mirror phone's screen with wire, that will be faster. There's an option to load offline maps like NaviMaps on sd card but that only Blaupunkt service guys can do. Hope this helps.

Hey... Chosing one from them would be based on so many factors. If sound quality and reliability is what am looking for, then I would go for Sony Xav. But if it's the display size, colors, viewing angles and features, then it would be Key Largo. Maps is usable smoothly after around 1-2 mins of loading time. There are also methods to use it like android Auto by connecting phone where the loading times and lag will reduce.

Hey... I don't think it is a good idea as it's a heavy App... First try out free version for some time and if you are happy with it, then go for full. And you cannot make it as a carplay system due to the android OS. It takes time to boot and even Android Auto or Apple car play isn't there on this.

Hi... The unit doesn't hang for normal uses like radio, bt music and other but the android part of it slightly laggy. As we are used to using snappy phones, using this will be a pain. So for navigation there's a trick to use this as android auto stereo to overcome those lags for navigation atleast. Do subscribe and stay tuned for the upcoming video to know about that.

Hi... Glad you liked the video. 1. You cannot get the brand logo anymore as that feature has been removed last year itself. Only ones with old system version will be able to do that. 2. To be frank all the car launchers I found to be slow and having issues. The best was using regular Phone launchers like Nova Launcher etc and keep the required icons on the screen. 3. Most welcome... You can go for Blaunpunkt Key Largo 10 inch system which might cost around 22-24k including installation. There are other Chinese ones in the market too that can cost around 15k but the reliability is the issue.

I don't think you can. Do one thing, keep the stereo connected to wifi/hotspot and open browser on your laptop and install any launcher app from there and select Keylargo as destination device. That would install the app in some time and you would get the option. I did the same once.

Hi... Most welcome.. 1. You can try installing any file explorer apps to access USB drive folders and then copy paste content to internal storage. 2. Default Video/Music player will show the USB content if it's detected properly. If it's not showing USB content/folder, then it's not properly connected/detected.

The android part is very slow... Basic features like Camera, Radio, BT, Music etc work perfectly well. There's a trick to make maps fast by Android Auto method which I explained in my videos... You can check and take call.

Hi , Excellent videos bro. I have Key Largo 970SV installed in my Skoda Yeti and had literally written off this system as a useless investment, even planned to swap it back with original system, till I watched your videos. I can make some use of it now :). However, I still have a major issue with the reverse camera. Rear video doesn't come up till the system boots and by that time , generally backing up the car would have been completed :). The customer support are clueless and state that it works well on Skoda Rapid. Just wondering if you too had faced this issue with the reverse camera and any tip to resolve. Thanks .

Hey... Glad to be of help. Don't forget to see the Android Auto videos which take the navigation performance to another level. And coming to your question, my Reverse camera screen comes up after around 10-15sec of Vehicle start and no need to wait till the whole System Boot up which would take at least 40-45 sec. When did you buy it and which system version are you on?

Hi... Update has to be done via zip file provided by Blaupunkt when available. And for improving maps, the only method is Android Auto mode by connecting phone. Shared a video recently.. check that

Hi... You need to sync contact in the Phone App of the Key largo and accept the request on phone.

@@fabi8319 Hey, a i got it for 20k including frame and fitting charges. 25k for 9" is too high. If your main requirement is only big screen for Navigation along with basic functions, better to go with Android Auto stereos from Sony or Pioneer.

@@IAmGizmogeek My search started with Sony XAV series , my requirement is as such i don't want to connect my mobile to infotainment system as i do lot of long drives (say an 12/16 hours of drive will heat up mobile & it will damage battery . XAV doesn't meet my requirement as it wont allow to install app from play store and it's more like mirror device . On my search i stumbled upon your video on Key largo which allows you to install app (as its an android tab + car infotainment system)and thereby i can use as an standalone independent system (no wired connection or wireless ) moreover i can run navi maps on key largo without connecting my phone to infotainment system ( correct me if am wrong) . To my knowledge other android tab + car info system is from Pioneer SDA-835TAB , do let me know if we have any other product in market . Could you help me understand how / where you purchased this product ?

@@fabi8319 Hey... Android Auto is not Mirroring as you the phone's screen can be locked. It basically uses Phone's processor but Stereo display. If you don't want to use Phone, then Blaupunkt is the only option in the range, but you can check my other videos on Keylargo and you would know how slow the maps load, if you have the patience, then it should be fine. The GPS locking would also be not that accurate, so sharp turns would take time to update in real-time. These android tablets are underpowered to run the Maps well, don;t consider them as the regular Android tabs that work smooth. Auto market has monopoly in these, so they sell cheap tabs at high cost just for minor customization. Alternatives would be Chinese generic Android stereos that would cost under 15K and come with 3GB ram. You can check with local car accessory stores, they should have such options. I took it from Navi Mumbai local store.

Hi .. it will automatically turn ON. I don't think there's a way to stop that. You can turn off quickly by tapping the power button.

Hey, I don't think that module is configurable by user yet. We cant do that. It's mostly for Cars that will have this model company fitted.

@@sudhaditya You can contact the Blaupunkt support via mail. They can give a better resolution if it's possible by any firmware upgrade. My guess also is that it's faulty. By the way does it get corrected when you connect to hotspot?

Most welcome. The connectors for original usb and aux will be available only with the local car accessory shops. I was offered one, but I did not take. Bluetooth is already inbuilt in Blaunpunkt, so I don't understand why you would need the original.

​​@@abhinandan1990 you have 2 options. I got this solved today. Option 1 is to change the CANbus, check with the dealer who installed ur head unit or ASC if it is a stock unit. Option 2. Radio preset not saving is a software bug and best is to change the head unit. I did so and it works fine. Or update the android version.

Hey man.. Recently facing major issue regarding android app download. Not able to download any android app on my system. It is always showing pending in plastered screen. Memory is also only 30%. can hard reset of system of factory reset will solve the problem. I am afraid if i do it i will loose all apps and then can't install any new. So it will be a dead piece.

@@IAmGizmogeek Thanks for the prompt response buddy.. I tried almost everything and nothing worked. Then out of frustration I did the factory reset. After factory reset I was unable to find the play store. So I thought I landed in a soup and the system is gone. After trying all the tricks to enable closed system and External apps I had to download all the apk files ,put them in pen drive and install from pen drive. After that I got the problem solved and I can download the apps now.
