Sadly some people say it's trash because it failed to capture the emotion and gore. Let's be honest Kubo was planning to kill Byakuya in the manga but the fangirls forced to bring him back that's why it's less gory in the anime and Jugram's line about Byakuya in the anime has been removed. Retro did adapt this accurately from the manga. While in the anime took a different approach.

We need more insight from the surviving quincy like Uryu, more screentime to the Sternritters actually using their Quincy heritage and stats rather than relying on their schrifts, Nanao and Kido-oriented Shinigamis trying to make an anti-Quincy kido, Yhwach's use on Zanka no Tachi, more screentime to Unohana's true nature, and the Vizard's potential to be key players to counter the quincies

@@grim6129 Yeah I heard the Tybw arc is supposed to be twice as long as the hueco mundo arc (235 chapters) Like 470 chapters. But this is fine since bleach has 52 episodes and each episode covers 5-6 chapters which is 54 additional new content of chapters. Because in the manga there is only 206 chapters. Hopefully the hell arc will be a masterpiece since Tite Kubo is not being pressured by the deadline anymore and can write at his own pace.

Especially considering the possibility that the anime COULD have Byakuya stay dead. It is incredibly unlikely since it would kind of mess up the manga’s continuity, but since Kubo might be trying to make the arc as close to his original vision as possible (unless he really had no intention of killing him off for good), then it is still a possibility. I personally don’t care either way since I’m still going to enjoy this arc, but it would probably appease many of the fans.

I know I’m incredibly late, but then waiting so long to animate it was probably for the best. Not only was it good to wait for the arc was over so that they wouldn’t have to add unnecessary filler, but they needed plenty of time to prepare for the production, such as gathering the right resources and talent for the job (including Kubo himself) and revising certain parts of the story if necessary in order to make this as good as possible (new scenes have already been confirmed).

The anime has an issue with delivering impact. This fan version depicts that much better. The sound makes the petals feel like razors, while the anime made them sound soft like feathers. The shots of Byakuya getting shredded were excellently executed, you get to see his body being torn apart, his body getting contorted, uncomfortably, moving so unnaturally, his hand outstretched in vain as he's being swallowed up by his own move. It's beautifully dramatic and excellently produced. Also the music is far better fitting, making the situation more intense and with far more despair. Renji's scream has more intensity than the anime despite being a kinda rough take, the cruelty of As Nodt just feels more menacing than the anime, it just has a better production and better filmmaking decisions overall than the official version, which was just too quiet, too stiff in spots, and just not given enough dramatic flair to its subject matter. Even the gore was toned down to make Byakuya's bullshit survival more believable. I don't care if this was fan made, this did the scene better than the official work and that's good on you as far as I'm concerned.

Ticklenut one piece is part of the big three and its anime was treated horrendously. Also, aniplex could outsource the entirety of bleach. Meaning, that even if they own the rights, a studio like toei, deen, or pierrot could still work on it. It’s also important to note that the producers know bleach has an extremely loyal fanbase, so they might make something subpar, knowing we’ll still watch it.

It also makes sense for him, it's realistic. I heard someone complain that As Nodt 'sounds like a smoker', but in terms of his physical condition, he is basically suffering the equivalent of that. His lungs were so weak that breathing on life support was agony for him, and he is incredibly tall and emaciated, both also detrimental to be. As is probably only still alive beause of his Quincy powers. Him sounding gravely and 'weak' is realistic. And of course, it has the added bonus of sounding bad*ss.

This is the closest thing to the anime we'll ever get and I'm glad it is this good. Things are so much better than they were in the opening. By the way, even if we had the anime, it would not have this much blood, so some things are even better than the anime. This video definitely made me decide to support retroryno with money. Because I'd love to see those chapters come to life. I honestly think that it'd be better if just the fights are animated. Because that would spare a lot of time. And there are so many fights. I mean, even this fight, the video didn't start from the very beginning. So if you could make a 15min entire fight video it would be sick. Anyway, love the colors, love the animation, I thing the audio is ok, but can be better, the voices are not bad. I just prefer Japanese but this is minor. So, congratulations, it's been such a long time I'm following this project and this video seems very professional for me. I ain't gonna lie like I love both the fan animation and the anime itself for putting their effort for bleach especially for this scene! But I feel like this fan animation made this scene more impactful and emotional, the music especially made it like the situation was a way to show despair!! I'm happy that we get to witness both of the scenes and I'm glad bleach is making it's comeback!!! So much love for the animators for the anime and fan animations!!

Well I don't agree with the music and definitely not the voice part unless you're speaking of the Dub because the Subs voice is amazing and very fitting. Now animation wise I agree, they could've done better but Taguchi(Director)DID say they were having production issues this cour and to no one's surprise... Kubo, Taguchi and Hiramatsu(script writer)have all said cour 2's animation will be much better 👀. Still for Kenpachi Vs Unohana, Ichigo Vs Yuha and Yama Vs Yuha they snapped. Next season everything will be better though thanks to breaks🙏🏽.

Honestly: I'm just completely blown away! This ist just so amazing. The voice acting is on a very high level, especially As Nodt. I honestly think the story would of been better if he died at this point. He didnt have much of a roll after he came back. The fight between rukia and Nodt would have been way more meaningful if she was seeking justice for her fallen brother.

@Retro Ryno you did a fantastic job with the animation. I remember reading this chapter when it first came out I was really sad and upset. Byakuya is my all time favorite character in Bleach! I have other characters that are my favorite but they don't come close to Byakuya's coolness. Thanks for posting this!
