Among other things... like human :D Eventually he (spoiler alert) He finds out he's a quincy, tho i dont remember if he learns how to use Blut vene. He mixes both getsuga tensho with gran rey cero, making a really badass attack, tho we never got to see the full reach of his abilities because no one taught him hollow techniques (not counting hollowification) nor quincy techniques, it also makes sense that he couldn't learn other techniques because he couldn't control his reiatsu output, plus his bankai is more suited to melee fighting, like Kenpachi with his shikai (take all this with a grain of salt) :D

The light shading for TYBW has been so unique in anime so far. There's so much depth to the colour and shading. Maybe it's common knowledge, but it's actually harder to draw and animate night time scenes than day time scenes. Darkness creates more angles for light sources, and shading has to be more detailed. This means they need to put even more effort into the animations purely because the scene is dark.

From Bleach wiki- Sklaverei is an ability that all Sternritter can use with their Quincy: Vollständig active. It is also revealed that Sklaverei decomposes Reishi to its most fundamental level upon absorption, hence allowing Quincy to assimilate Hollow Reishi without danger. from reddit post- The moment Ayon's flesh started to peel off, it was already Opie's reishi, not Ayon's. Ayon's reaitsu was stripped off and Opie's replaced it in the reishi of his body. This happened before the reishi made physical contact with Opie. So, there was no side effect to opie.

After reading/ watching the fight it is super obvious that this fight ending was flawed. This is a clear case of a Quincy with the pinnacle of reishi control and manipulation that took on 3 semi-captain(lieutenant+) Arrancar, One Captain level Monster and Ichigo and held his own for quite some time. if it wast for "plot" or "certain power reveals" then Quilge would easily stomp all of them especially with Sklave Rei. given this fight happened in soul society I can only imagine the havoc he would wreak. he is easily one of the most fluent quincy as well considering only ishida has displayed the reishi manipulation to a similar degree and he doesn't depend on his shrift as all the other stern ritters do. also just food for though, if absorbing ayon imbued him with his durability/ physical features, if he absorbed a soul reaper would he get a zanpaktuo?

Actually quite a few Sternritters use a bow. All of the Bambies, sans Bambietta herself LOL. Bazz-B uses a crossbow. Three of the four Schutzstaffel used a bow. Lille might not have used a bow but he did use a rifle, a projectile weapon that could be said to be the evolution of the bow and arrow. Speaking of firearms we have Robert using a pistol and BG9 using a mini gun. Also, I think Quilge's eyes are meant to represent jail bars, you know, since he is "the Jail".

Aren't Quincies essentially allergic/poisonous to anything that is related to a Hollow's spiritual energy/reiatsu due to their body composition, which is why the Soul Reapers that had their Bankai stolen by various Quincies got them back after they took Urahara's Hollowfication Pills?
