I could see Yama forbiding masks inside the sereitei, but, remember that the masks are taxing and can only be maintained for a short time. Going Bankai while masked would make it even shorter in theory since Bankai is way more demanding on the body and reiatsu. I guess they could use their ultimate techniques with their masks on as a final moment.

What a great ending to the cour For those that were expecting kubo to do some anakin / palpatine thing with Uryu’s betrayal instead of the double agent plot . then that wouldnt make sense at all But I loved the stuff kubo is making and that have been made , the vizards being set up to fight Gerard , isshin and ryuken showing up much earlier than they did in the manga , and a possible backstory about rangiku and the soul king being shown . Like what Mr. Tommo2304 said in his reaction video , this is getting into showing what kubo couldnt add in the manga and that makes me happy . like a good fan i always I have been genuinely hyped about bleach .

39:45 so, my theory for how he was able to do this, was that he unconsciously activated The Balance. or maybe The Balance activated automatically to defend him. because, while His Majesty sleeps: his powers swap with Jugram. they are two halves, after all. Jugram gets The Almighty, and Yuhabaha gets The Balance. Mask of the Ruler, you'll recall. so yeah. they all attacked him. but then their fortune and His Majesties misfortune were switched. leading to the damage they dealt to him to essentially be reflected upon themselves.

This episode was epic. I'm so excited to see what comes next. No scene was wasted. Spoilers for anyone who somehow didn't read the manga Isshin and ryuken hopefully can join the battle and show off their power. That was what made me the most disappointed seeing them do nothing. Orihime and Ichigo team up against juha will be an amazing time to watch with unicorn Ichigo. Hopefully they expand on that part of the fight. Gerald needs a better ending to his battle. He was just a wall that kept coming back. We got top tier captains and toshiro fighting him but the vizards all fighting together will be an amazing time to watch. Overall bleach is so close to an epic finale that I have been missing from this day and age manga that suck an get an extra chapter weeks later

You say symbolic gesture, I say seal. I think the seal on the visored masks was placed on their haori because it's a symbol of their status as captains. So in order to use their masks they MUST remove it, therefore making it clear they are operating outside their authority as a captain of the gotei

20:46 Visored can't last long in Bankai with mask unlike Ichigo it has the risk of breaking which is why they chose not to use it since its a double-edge sword kind of an situation, or else characters like Kensei would have already used bankai with mask in FKT. Unless Kubo does some explanation in cour 4 with this its safe to say its a personal tradeoff by going bankai or mask only.

This is all perfectly understandable. The only issue was that it was never addressed, even slightly by any of the characters which was strange. A power system is introduced for a group of characters and it features very prominently during Fake Karakura, then they just stop using it with no explanation. So yes while a lot of fan theories that make perfect sense exist, i truly feel that is something Kubo himself should have brought up.

I loved the finale until the weird 5 minutes recap-y thing with Askin. It kinda killed my joy. I understand the production issues from Cour 2 bled into Cour 3 but I would’ve preferred an extra 5 minutes of anime-only content. Like what did the Vizards actually do against Gerard? Maybe show more of what was happening in the Seireitei below. Maybe more of Kira fighting. There are even better ways to do a recap like Hitsugaya, Rangiku, Rose, and Kensei getting debriefed because they’ve been dead for the whole cour. I think the only good thing that the 5-minute recap thing did was give us Nikita Deslock’s name, which is so badass, as she’s an anime-original character.

@@nataliawineland34 I don't think they can combined it due to ads and timeslots, Like the episode joked about they had to use up the rest of the time and ofcourse its going to be a lot lower in quality since originally we were just going to have 13 episodes and this is "extra" due to make up for the end of episode 26 and start of episode 27. Even if it was like 5 min left they probably didn't want to dip in to new materials without knowing what cour 4 is going to be which is why we mostly end with a 5 min gag. either way people can skip it, no one is forced to watch it since its after credit.

I agree that one thing I did like on the 5 minute Quincy Daten is that we finally know Nikita Deslock’s name. Even though I liked that Askin hosted this, I really didn’t like that he badmouthed my personal favorite group, the Bambies/Femritters and calling each of their schrift abilities cringe and so on. So that right there definitely killed my hype.

I hope in cour 4 that Chad is going to get to do more, instead of standing at the sideline for multiple fight or some weird battle with statues. You really can see that nobody knows what to do with Chad. Not Kubo or the animation team. Give Chad some kind of new upgrade for the final cour. Give him the leg of the Giants. Make his calves even bigger then Iida's (from My hero academia) to form the lower halve of a shield so Chad can connect the shield on his arm of the giant and the left leg, make it erupt reishi like the arm could in the subtitude soulreaper arc, to form a reishi wall to block incoming arrows. Give him the leg of the devil with a nice designed kneecap so his destructive power is multiplied many times over. It doesn't even have to defeat like Gerard Valkyrie, just have Chad toss Gerard arround a few times, giving Gerard a nice knee to the calves to have Gerard fall on his @ss or tossed off the side and Gerard has to go into his holy form to fly back up. Give chad the face/head of god, Chad rocking a nice horn sticking out his face (a bit Ichigo now he goes Bankai with his new zangetsus (spoiler)) and have Chad headbutt the Sternritter, maybe he's the one to finally injure Gerard for real by chipping a piece of that Quincy cross inside Gerard (spoiler) to make a clear way how to defeat the guy properly for the other captains. It's such a shame Kubo made Orihime the healer and Chad the defender, yet Orihime with her shields that can also make bombs (bounce back damage it took) is just way better at Chad's job.

I am so glad Rose and Kensai, along with the rest of the Vizards, are getting set up for a chance to shine during Cour 4, because it was kind of bs that Toshirou and Kenpachi got healed by Mayuri's healing pods faster than Rose and Kensai did when they, in theory, should have been healed and dezombified around the same time if not sooner that Toshirou and Rangiku did given they were relatively fine aside from Gremmy having used his power to make them 'dead' Which, btw, can we just take a moment and just question what exactly death means for soul reapers and Shinigami in general? Like, if Mayuri had the tech he has in order to revive Toshirou, Rangiku, Rose, and Kensai back in the day when Kaien 'died' could he have saved him? Like, is it a situation where, so long as the body remains intact, Mayuri could revive anyone? Then how does that explain Ukitake being dead unless the disease he has just prevents him from being revived period, which is kind of dumb. Is it because they were zombified that Mayuri could pull this off and, if so, why does the person have to specifically be a zombie to do this? Zombies are just reanimated corpses, there isn't really much of a difference there. Tangent aside, glad to see them and the rest of the Vizards using their masks (let's be real Shunsi would not argue about them using it given Shunsi's whole philosophy on war) to the point where, if Kubo really wanted to, I'd say have the Vizards be the ones to fight and defeat Gerard and maybe have the rest go off to fight Ywhach with Ichigo because, in the manga, so much stuff gets thrown at Gerard that I feel like it's honestly bs given how, compared to the other Royal Guards and their fights, Gerard doesn't even die to all of it. He only dies because Ywhach takes Gerard's power away. So have the Vizards fight Gerard, maybe show Love's Bankai (we haven't gotten to see it despite him being a former captain) and even show us Lisa's Bankai (since we now after the 10 year time skip she is now the captain of squad 8 so he has to, at the very least, have obtained Bankai at this point) and save Toshirou, Byakua, and Kenpachi for maybe the final fight against Yhwach.

I think it would be really funny if Orihime had a conversation off screen with Ichigo to remind him how ridiculously powerful her healing powers are. Like Ichigo is in the elevator brooding over what to do about Ishida, and she just points out that as long as he's still alive she can probably heal anything Ichigo does to him. I mean she has either reattached or regenerated an arm for Ishida, hell she pretty much brought Menolly back from the dead. So what's a severed limb or two between freinds.

Agreed: but the problem is Katagiri was supposed to be a half-blooded quincy. If she is strong enough to survive, then Uryu (with the benefit of his father being a full-blooded Quincy ), should survive. I forget where but Uryu was supposed to have low blood pressure, perhaps he was born sick and therefore 'died' (hence the vision of him dying in the Royal palace, this has already happened). Maybe he did have the silver clot in his heart, but his heart was swapped out for Katagiri's. The Mimihagi element somehow comes from Katagiri.

Regarding Yhwach defeating the Bambis. I got a theory. Yes, it's different from the manga. But one thing that was pointed in the last few episodes was that Haschwalth and Yhwach switch powers while Yhwach sleeps. So maybe the Bambi's did hurt Yhwach and then he used the Balance to give them all that damage. It's the perfect defense while one sleeps, a bounce back attack. Outside of that one scene in cour 2 which was a tease, Haschwalth's schrift hasn't been revealed yet. Yhwach using it in his sleep is a perfect tease for it to.

I hope we get the Shaz Domino fight in Core 4. I heard 50% of Core 4 going to be all new things. I look forward to Uryu and Haschwalth have a full on fight and how Haschwalth will do against Uryu in his Vollstandig too. I hope Gerard's death it better down, Askin fight should remain the same, end fight with Yhwach should be new too. Also see how Lille get finish off too. So yea only four villain left, but they can do so much more. Maybe get the SternRitter flashback too and finally reveal BG9 and Robert powers. Again Robert's death was never show, so maybe he still alive just have to wait and see.

Having Ryuken be the one to defeat him would be pretty cool since we never got to see the full extent of Ryuken's powers. Think about it, if they're just going to adapt the rest of the manga chapters then there's no way that Cour 4 will be 13 episodes long. I'm sure that the anime producers are going to add a bunch of stuff in the anime because Kubo was rushed to finish the final arc. Isshin and Ryuken showing up early in Wahrwelt has to mean something and I'm surprised that Tekking didn't pick up on that.

I think we have the Vizards all do their shit first (Theres like 25 chapters left but 12-13 eps left for cour 4) and have maybe half of them knocked out then have Toshiro/Byakuya come in to save the other half from being wiped out. Then when Toshiro/Byakuya/Kenpachi do their joint manuever have some of the remaining Vizards join in that joint attack Shinji messes with Gerald who tries to retaliate, or Hachi uses so Kido to further restrain Gerald.

We finally know how Uryu survived the Auswhalen... Katagiri used the Antithesis on him to give herself the clut of silver blood. Because the most relevant thing on that scene was that SHE wasn't affected, so she wasn't as impure as we were lead to believe.

I can't see Yamamoto flat out forbidding the Visords' masks. Now Central 46 on the other hand... That's a more plausible outcome. It's totally possible that despite their contribution in trying to kill Aizen and protecting the world of the living, C46 were still adamant on executing the group just for being victims of Aizen's schemes; victim blaming essentially, something Hiyori was still completely resentful at them for, hence her reaction to having to put on a shihakusho. While Yamamoto might have been the one to convince C46 to grant the Visords leniency, it would be more fitting to say that Ukitake was involved. Likely using Ichigo and the combat pass as an example/proof, the Visored were allowed back under the no mask conditions. They likely gave them robes that function similar to Ichigo's combat pass whenever they're in the Sereitei (again, circling back to Hiyori's reaction with the robes).

I truly think they are going to change uryus plan to kill yhwach. Because uryu states as the reason for being the only one who can kill yh, that he is the one with his mothers and yhwachs blood (i dont think this was in the manga or i dont remember). Plus uryu was shown with mimihagis eye on his hand and my personal theory is that he inherited mimihagis power through his mom (idk how but u could easily find an explanation for it) This would make uryu someone who already had his powers. Hence the antithesis (probably out of reflex) killed his mom, that‘s how uryu survived the auswählen. Having katagiri being an „impure“ quincy with a part or powers of thesoul king. Would also make the whole still silver more of an actual twist than the dio ex machina it is in the manga

My impression of the ending is that Yhwh just activates the Balance and then goes to sleep, when the Bambi's attacked they basically defeated themselves in one hit. It would make sense that's why he was even looking for Hashwalt. Yhwh seems too conceited to admit that he needs someone but called Hashwalt his other half. Maybe Yhwh couldn't sleep safely without the Day and night cycle thing, cuz the balance seems perfect for it.

Rose had o time to use his mask because he was wining and then had a hole blow in him. Add in using the mask is very draining like it is brought up that Ichigo using it on the previon Espada despite oneshoting him was a mistake and would weaken him Kensai had a bit more time but really the main chance he had was after the surprise punch by Mask, after putting on the mask would have led to him getting pummelled even harder because the first action you take is sluggish with the mask this was part of the vizard training, Kensei was surprised by mask that mask was faster than him and by that point mask was basically next to him at all times so wasting time putting on the mask and then being slowed down by said mask being on is just begging to be killed Also I mean Love and Rose got angry with Shunsui when he saved their life fighting starrk by re-joining the fight, straight up you have a lot of nerve putting into someone else fight

5:49 I recommend watching or reading bastard if that’s the case xD 18:54 I like how this parallels when ichigo and his friends saved that soul reaper and fought those hollows at the beginning of the arc that reintroduced their characters in the series. 38:23 I feel like they might change that to instead have orihime heal them as a parallel to when she healed the tres beastia and hallibel back in the end of the arrancar arc but we’ll have to wait see what they do in cour 4 first. I really hope we get a bit better an explanation for why Toshiro's flowers running out = adult form, and hopefully a bit more sauce with Kenpachi's bankai other than him exploding his own arm trying to chop Gerard in half and being piloted by Yachiru like a pony. ALSO MORE DAD CONTENT! I want Isshin and Ryuken to have like, art deco critiques as they meander about trying to find Yuha and The Boys.

Unfortunately, none of the openings in the TYBW arc episodes have made an impression on me. Compared to the absolute bangers of the original run of the Bleach anime, these new OPs are pretty generic in my opinion.

You forgot to mention how Ryuken and Isshin show up earlier in the anime then they did in the manga. Hopefully this means that Ryuken will get to fight Jugram! Also, did you not see the special opening and ending for this episode?
