NaNaNa took his cloak-like cape off in the manga, whereas in the anime he didn't. Also when Robert and Bazz-B prepared to attack Ichigo in the manga, they were in their base forms. Whereas in the anime, they were in their Vollstandig forms. And by extension, Bazz-B stopped Shinji, Momo and Omaeda in their tracks with Burner Finger 3 before this. And even when the Sternritters were charging at the Shinigami, Pepe was in his base form.

Ichigo getting into combat with the Bambis was great and a perfect return to the main conflict for him. Them unleashing their holy forms was perfectly animated even I'd it did them no good for obvious reasons.

I might be wrong but I feel that smoke cloud when Ichigo breaks through the barrier resembles his substitute badge more than a hollow mask. Also another slight cottection, after the other bambis get whipped in their extra fight and Candice gets involved, she had her holy form still active from earlier. What they added though was her following her comrades example and using sklaverai to amp herself, adding extra detail to her holy form as a result.

Even Burner Finger 2 wasn't animated accurately. It's supposed to cause a massive mushroom explosion. They just made a Burner Finger 1 doubled in the anime. Each addition of a finger is supposed to change the behavior of his heat. 1: a laser. 2: raw force. 3: lava. 4: a blade. 5: Unexplored; some kind of spiral wave.

Seeing Ichigo showcasing more of his new found powers was epic and better than the manga. However, I’m very curious to know what the actual new fight scene will be if it’s not Ichigo vs Uriyu. My guess is An onscreen fight of Byakuya and the 5 sternritters considering how we didn’t get an expanded fight of Ichigo vs 8 sternritters which would’ve been also awesome. Given the pacing of each fight I can see it happening between episodes 10 and 11. The later half of 11 being the prologue of squad 0 vs Ywach and his elites

The fun part of the cut content and stuff is that the actual episode feels natural know what i mean? I’m an anime only i read tybw manga back then but not in its entirety. Somehow i’d argue this Bleach TYBW has more focus to it which is why I don’t mind the cut content. Unlike the Tokyo ghoul adaptation of Pierrot you can literally feel there are missing pieces of the story where something just happens and you don’t have a clue of how and when did it happen but for bleach, every episode feels natural

Just so many things was going on at the time. Kubo sick, being pressured by the publisher because they thought bleach was dying. I guess in a way this actually made bleach even more famous. And Tokyo Ghoul I agree. Sad how that ended.

The Bambis fighting Ichigo was really cool, with Giselle's holy form being weird but not entirely off brand. It makes me wonder if we will see that again later, since they made it seem like it looked ridiculous but Ichigo was worried enough to break free from it before it could do damage. I do think we will get to see Bazz B break out the burner finger 3; however, I do think you're right in that we may not see Shinji there to interact. I'm a big Shinji fan so that is depressing. I did get excited to think we would get some Aizen dialog, but alas only a teaser this round. I'm ok with this 😊 all in all a good episode and hungry for more Bleach AND JJK. Super anxious for more JJK!

The Bambies ain’t shit, but I honestly love them. They really made this episode fun. Their Vollständig transformations gave me Sailor Moon vibes. They said “Moon Prism Power, Make Up!” I’m also really glad they kept the scene of the rest of the Bambies landing on Candice in various ways. It was hilarious in the manga and it was hilarious in the anime. Ichigo came back and showed those girls why we call him Ichigoat! I also loved how he told Candice to dodge his attack. He’s HIM but he’s also a gentleman. 🥹

Pace is all over the place, first they rush and cut all the things they can to get that cinema cliffhanger and then we get overblown sailor moon transformations for the Bambies. The only thing why i might be happy regarding the pace is that we move out of SS and will get more scenes with better lighting, because im not gonna lie i get tired of that weird filter. The art was pretty rough most of the time, and it wasn't thanks to the splendid animation that for the most part was also stiff. Someone on twitter comparred the two scenes of Ichigo oneshotting vice captains, to this and the old one somehow works and moves way better. Don't feel any hype, don't feel anything, manga and OG was delivering these moments, but here? 50/50 hit or miss, often miss. EDIT. Also, why they included Yhwach scene again and still not manage to explain stuff about his past? Wtf 5/10

12:30 It could also be Soul King himself manipulating whole situation. He have seen it all with All Mighty before, maybe this is the best time to do the replacement. Or it may be Ichibe, who got restless and decided he needs a better replacement, because Soul King has done a lot of changes within the worlds - his body parts being dangerous to the existence of the Soul Society and they have been affecting human world as well through the Fullbringers. Yhwach and Ichigo, probably would be easier weaker options, perfect for manipulation. Also Hell may also be in the picture. Maybe Ichibe wants to lift some of the restrictions between Hell and the Real World or quite opposite - this is the last effort to somehow minimise the damage. If this is in fact him luring Yhwach inside - it would make sense why Zero Division has fallen so quickly. But also their demise and everything up to Soul King's proper death would probably be predicted by SK all the way back.

My only problem with the episode was when candice 1st striked kenpachi and he just stands there like a statue for 3 minutes 🗿, until all his subordinates are gone. I prefer the way the manga did that scene where's he's telling his men to stop worrying about him and get out of there, it was better than him just standing there with his back turned doing nothing while everyone getting destroyed.

The design itself is alright, far from being one of the best, but the abilities Giselle showed while in that form were stupid lmao. "Dancing Dead Boys Club" and its probably the weakest quincy technique we have seen up to date, at least Lilitotto and Menina's vollstanding where in tune with their actual schrifts, but Giselle's literally were just 2 dumb abilities that genuinely didn't do anything compared to the others.

I kinda love the more 'no bullshit' aprouch the anime currently has, yes the 4 girls is all joke, but they odd 'funny lines' of the manga wouldnt really suit a more dark style anime (like Renji nearly cutting ichigo). i kept telling people the pace of the Anime is really fast, too fast, evident of how much cut content from the Manga there is, but most people told me it's not true. bullshit. the Anime is almost like a speedrun of the Manga, instead of the other way around, and it's shame. high production value isn't everything, it's not a replacement for good pacing.
