I'm patently excited. It took a bit of time for me to truly warm up to the (?Echt?)Quincy. Don't get me wrong -- I rooted for Uryu when he not only stood his ground against the sociopathic Mayuri Kurotsuchi, but attempt to slay him with Leitz Steil(?), Many-many-many moons ago... I'm really not that excited because of how manga faithful things have been. I have no hope that Uryuu's plot will be done right by any standard but Kubo's weirdly subpar ones for this arc, and I don't think a lot of key Quincy lore or characterization will be added. Additionally, I am disappointed that we have not been shown any Ichigo introspection over what he saw in the Irazusandō, and I don't think we will, nor will Uryuu's shock that Ichigo seemingly has Quincy blood be elaborated on because Kubo seemingly does not care about actually elaborating on the Quincy. There's show, but not tell, and then there's reveal absolutely nothing.

@@tr3yy I don't trust Kubo at all, and I bet the new scenes are going to be superfluous shit that doesn't actually elaborate on the lingering mysteries of the arc or do much to flesh out the remaining Stërnritter or even Ichigo. Kubo's priorities with this adaptation were absolutely bonkers, keeping the stuff that didn't make much sense while not adding enough to develop the Wandenreich or Quincy lore in general.

I think Uryu’s plan might make more sense in the anime, since in the anime Jugram did not tell Uryu that Jugram gains Yhwach’s powers at night. But Uryu does know about Yhwach sleeping to regain his strength. So Uryu waiting for Yhwach to sleep to make his move is a good plan, until Jugram revealing he gains the Almighty at night throws a wrench in the whole thing.

The shadow world thing is easy: Wandenreich stuff was built in the shadows, but switched with the Seireitei during the second invasion. The Wandenreich stuff, along with Wahrwelt, are currently in the Soul Society and not in the shadow world. Presumably the Seireitei buildings are currently safely stored in the shadow world, unless they were specifically being dismantled during that time

It has jugram asking to himself why ishida is at eins ast before bazz-B interrupts his thoughts. So most likely that place is called eins ast. I don't speak German but google has told me that translates to "one branch"

this makes me think about cour 4’s structure. my guess is the first 4 episodes are the remaining battles for urahara team and byakuya team, and then the Last 9 Episodes will be dedicated to putting an end to Yhwach

I mean, regarding Chad, if Renji got his own extra fight in this cour, and Uryuu received 3 Anime exclusives, plus all the other added scenes and Chad/the gang doing at least something against Yhwach/Schutzstaffel, why couldn't Chad also get a full, original fight next cour? Given how we're already gonna be on chapter 661/662, and we'll be getting about 13-14 episodes for the finale, there's not a bunch more they can adapt straight from the manga. Like 60% or so of the material will likely be Anime only. Which means a lot of room to expand on the very rushed ending fights, but also to improve upon/add some fights and interactions that were never even in the manga. Knowing what we know that got added in the Anime, it's clear that Kubo wasn't happy with how he did the latter part of TYBW, and is now doing everything in his power to rectify mistakes. So far, nearly everything that was wrong with TYBW has been fixed by the Anime. I'm assuming Kubo wanted Chad to have a fight, he just couldn't do it in the end. Same with the Fullbringers etc.

Hold up wait a minute… something I’ve been ruminating in since the last episode and with this one seemingly confirming Haschwalth is like Yuha - it appears as if Haschwalth could’ve become a version of Yuha himself. Further, Yuha says no other Quincy like this was born in the last 200 years, which suggests Yuha is more of a natural phenomenon rather than the direct descendant of a God I.e. the soul king. This would also then lend credence that it’s possible for another Yuha to eventually surface through natural selection as long as other Quincies exist.

The anime has implied that Ywach is the son of the soul king by an unkown mother (second cour, I believe) Despite that, Yuha being considered a natural phenomenon isn't too far off either. He's been shown in the manga being able to actually reincarnate. He was killed by ichigo's son before completing the reincarnation though) Can something like him evolve naturally? He kinda confirms quincy like himself exist...even if they're inferior The soul king himself is also impled to be a natural phenomenon. If I remember correctly, in the books they were discussing the original world. Hollows were consuming everything and there was a real risk of everything coalescing into one giant menos. And, as if the universe was aware of this threat, the soul king came into existence. He was a being that posessed the abilities/natures of most of the humanoid races (shinigami, quincy, hollow, fullbring and regular human). No one knew where he came from, he just appeared out of nowhere when things were going to sh*t.

The Soul King was created in response to the world going severely out of balance with abilities made to put a stop to that, and it's not out of the question for Ywach and Quincy like him to be in a similar situation, maybe due to elements of the original world leaking through the Ancestors' construction or through the will of Adnyeus himself.

@Outlawstar101 Personally like the Währwelt look, and the new fights were absolutely golden. The old fights were disappointingly the same, even if Kyouraku's was extremely well animated. I just wanted more changes because the cracks really started showing here in the manga.

I'm still of the opinion that the 'portal' is the focal point of the worlds merging,as it bears a resemblance to the whirlpools surrounding Reio in the flashbacks I do wonder what's going on with the Bambis battle, there's apparently no mention of it in the synapses or trailer, so what's going on? Bazz-B has been defeated, so I would have expected that fight to be finished with that, but we haven't seen anything

Honestly I’m expecting a pretty massive subversion of expectations. It wouldn’t make sense for Uryu to come out now, think about it: in the manga it made sense because he did jack up to this point, but here in the anime he already got a bodycount: - Killed Senjumaru (he straight up murdered her, no fake out). - Beat the stools out of Ichigo, not just destroying his footing. - Destroyed Renji, a fake out for sure but for everybody it seems like he killed him. How is Uryu supposed to be like “oh yeah I killed a squad zero member and a brother in arms but I was being a double agent all this time trust me hehehe ;)”. It wouldn’t make sense to give up the game this early while Uryu is at peak villainy

I figured the extra fights with senjumaru and renji were to give uryu cool feats since he , like you said , did jack. We know senjumaru and renji are gonna be fine if they haven't already been healed up, so technically uryu doesn't have any actual blood on his hands, so I figured it's still gonna be uryu saying " relax guys , I'm just a double agent ".the most I'm expecting is uryu saying some extra stuff like he did what he had to do to get closer go the enemy no matter how much it tore him up inside.

unpopular opinion , yhwh was always a living hogyoku giving the sternritters the powers they always wanted. As Nodt became the fear he wanted to conquer. James became a superstar like he always wanted. bazzardo black became the flames he wanted to exact as revenge on yhwach. Jugram had the scales he wanted for as long as he placed his conscience on a scale , he cannot be held accountable and therefore cannot feel regret or sadness becoming the perfect emotionless slave for his king.
