the purple works as a toner so you dont need one! and i have seen it faded and honesty i think u should leave it that kinda gray color.

You only need to tone bleached hair if you’re going for a blonde colour, toner is just dye, like the lavender is. It actually would have been a pointless step 👍🏻

Shhhhhit. I wouldn’t done it if I didn’t have to funds to purchase all the necessary products let alone had enough money to buy a box dye to cover up my tragic mistake. Plus common girl. Toner ain’t that expensive and also is necessary when bleaching.

i bleached the underlayer of my hair and i honestly had double the amount of bleach then she had on my face ;3 and i have a hUuuuGggee undercut so my entire face was covered in bleach but it didn't even hurt lmao

@@trishaspear8981 it happens most of the time because of long hair and trying to get it all covered 🤣 Trust me you're not thinking about that, just getting it on quick and fully so you're not white and yellow🤣 because it itches and burns so bad you start to panic on occasion 😜

@@mUseSapphO that's why if you are doing your entire head yourself (I've done it a few times and root touch ups) you split it in two sections, do the lower half first and use foil to keep it clean, wash out and then do the top half after. I've gotten it on my skin before (with 20/30 volume mix) and it itches and burns so I think about wiping it off immediately, always have paper towel in hand when colouring/bleaching your hair😅

Some part didn’t take the color because some spots were still too dark (even if it looked bleached everywhere, it wasn’t light enough) but it looks really pretty.

It looks really good! The reason the purple didn’t take to some of your hair is because your hair wasn’t bleached light enough for that specific tone of purple ☺️

The yellow parts that wouldn't take the purple very well actually look rose gold! So it looks like you have lavender and rose gold hair. And I love it.

You did a really good job explaining wat u were doin and why certain things could’ve happened. Im thinking the main reason some parts of ur hair didn’t take is because when hair is over processed with bleach the pores on the strands stay open and cant hold any color in it. Especially if you plan to put color in it the same day as bleaching. And especially if your trying to do a pastel color it’s probably a good day to wait a day or two for the pores to recover enough to hold colored dyes. And also add in the same dye into your shampoo as a back up incase the pores never fully recovered. Everyones hair have different strengths against bleach you never know urs until tested.

Next time don’t mix the conditioner if you are already using a pastel color it’s already diluted down. If you end getting a darker purple than use the conditioner! Looks cool either way!
