Notes: If you have bin/cue files, make sure that when you extract to the transfer folder in Bleemsync...that you don't place in subfolder. Meaning, within the transfer folder, you shouldn't have any other folders. Just bin/cue files. Also, when you extract the artwork PNG files to the cover folder, CUT THE DEFAULT IMAGE FILE(the only image file that's initially in the covers folder) and place in a backup folder on your desktop in case you need to restore. Once I took the default png out of the folder...all of the png artwork worked fine for all of my games.

Awesome video, solved my problems for me. For anyone out there: Don't add ISO's/Bin & Cue game files in folders in transfer folder. If your games are in folders, it wont work. No need to put game covers in covers folder in bleemsync 1.2 (Don't know if this is also true for 1.1) Just put everything in the transfer folder along with the covers you already have for those games. For example, I had 5 games, all in bin/cue format with there individual covers. I put all 5 games along with there covers in the transfer folder. Everything together. Dont put them in individual folders just drop all the cues all the bins and all the covers from all the games in the SAME transfer folder all together. Then, you're done. Plug your usb into the psc and you're all set.

My Dude!!!!!!! Thanks for this tutorials! I am a total noob to this kind of stuff and was super nervous I was going to mess something up. I just bought a PS1 classic and followed your tutorials and got everything to work. I do have one question that might sound a little dumb. I didn't have any USB 3.0 flash drives when I did this mod, but I want to know if I can copy all the files from my current BleemSync installed USB 2.0 flash drive (that i am currently using) to a properly formatted (exFAT) USB 3.0 flash drive? In other words I want to use the faster USB 3.0 can I just copy all the files over or do I have to re do the whole process? Thanks a million because of you my 9 year old son and I are gaming together down nostalgia lane.

If you are using an OTG adaptor, you can absolutely just copy over the files to your new USB. If you are running off the front port, I'd suggest staying away from usb 3.0 for now. There is a power limiter on the ports and most usb 3.0 won't work with the limited power output usb 2 port. :) glad this video was helpful :)

Thanks dude! why not build a separate usb build for bleemsync? Then you get the benefit of OTG and to be honest, once you update the kernel for BleemSync, you can use the OTG support for both BleemSync and AutoBleem!

OK... so in the root of the usb add a folder containing all your roms. My folder is called 'roms'. Unplug from your pc, boot up your ps classic with the usb of course. Go retroarch then assuming you have the cores you want, load a core. then head to load content which is under load cores, Go down to the Big Mac (/) above settings, then down to media, then to your roms folder, find your rom. If it is an archive then go load archive, Current Core if it asks and bobs your uncle... I tested a few different types and it works for me. Hope it works for you

excellent tutorial. just add all the .bin and cue files into transfer, including multi-disc games, no sub-folders. so easy i did find that dragon warrior VII did not combine into one game though. it shows disc one and disc two as separate games and did not match the cover art. not sure what happened there

Good video, could use some more specific instructions about .img, .bin-.cue, and .pbp files. Reason I say this is I have a massive library that I originally had for my modded PSP and most of the PS1 games are in folders with the game name and the game files inside each are labeled EBOOT.PBP. Do I have to rename each of them as I go to put directly in the transfer folder or can I keep them as they are? and how does it work for .img and .bin-.cue files? The handful I never got around to converting are in a similar format, folder with game name and contents generic names such as IMAGE.CCD.Thanks for the help, keep up the good work :) One other question, for multi disc games such as Resident Evil 2 and Arc The Lad Collection, can I label them separately in some way so I know which game is which?

Why do you extract the images into the "covers" folder then cut them and move them out. That seems kind of redundant? Why not just extract directly into the "psc_transfer_tools" folder?

i followed the video for artwork (png.zip download) but it didnt work. not even the default came up. some one said they had issues until they removed the default. tried that, didnt work. Video didnt specify anything about changing names but saw some mentions that it had to match the file, tried that. Didnt work. (didnt specify if the name had to match the original file name or the renamed file as it appears in the Games folder post import. Tried both, neither worked). Also tested the naming with new games in the transfer folder. No go. Once i added the covers folder back in and added the default back into that folder SOME of the files got the default artwork (no clue why not all). I am manually adding the .png files into the Games folder with the game, matching the game name that appears in its folder and FINALLY some images are appearing. Going to be a long process though with many so games...

I just had a quick question, the place I got my games from extracts a bin and a separate cue file. Do I need to add both to the transfer or just the bin? I did just the bin for CTR to try it and it seems to have worked but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the great video!

it uses the serial numbers coded into each game. Its not completely fool proof but its like 99.9 percent accurate. :)

After testing things out, I found out that you can individually add the cover art and label them after the cue file and place them in the covers folder in psc_transfer_tools folder. I like that because there's a few cover art on Google that looks messed up and I can't find a good copy, so I take the best artwork Google has and then edit it in paint. Now all my artwork looks nearly perfect.

When adding multiple games at once does it matter how many are added to the transfer file or would they have to be done separately and added to the PSC. Also would mutli disc games like the Final Fantasy disc be put into the transfer file together and then bleemsync would compile them into one thing like the PSC already does with FF 7?

After I did the update everything was working great. Also tested the drag & drop transfer method with a few games and it worked great. I had about 288 games that I previously installed through the UI that took me hours and hours using bin and cue files. Since I have grown my collection and converted them all to .pbp files I figured lets delete all the games I have in the games folder and drag and drop the 500+ .pbp files that could now fit on the usb drive vs the .bin and .cues I previously loaded. The transfer stopped after only about 100 games in the B's. If I put the USB drive in the PC the remaining games are in the transfer folder? I am currently deleting all the games out of the games folder again and will try one more time. Any suggestions?

sounds like its just a setting hiding the games. on the boot menu press l1 to enter settings and check if the option to display usb games is set to false, if it is change to true. then they should all display

There are vids on KZbin that show you how to install the early stages of bleemsync and then overlay it with the autobleem software and still retain OTG support. Maybe try that and see how you get on. I'm not a huge fan of bleemsync either.

Hey Carlos, no it cant be played through bleemsync directly, but it can be played through retroarch since analog support is there.

Not getting images to work no matter what I try and I've tried 3 different versions of the same game, 2 pbp and one iso. Is there something to do with the file names in order to get them to work? I watched your example in the video and it was just the title of the game and it didn't have a tag like [slus-0000] so I'm curious where I'm going wrong since I've meticulously followed your guide step by step. Ps. All my pbp files work just fine on my modded psp and they play just fine on the PSC the only problem I'm having is with the cover art not applying. Well, I have done the install now about 5 times, watched your video numerous times and I am still not able to get the games to transfer. The only line in the L1 option screen that has the term "USB" is marked true. I have followed step by step and still no luck. USB stick is 2.0, formatted to FAT32, Crash Bandicoot is a simple pop file(not multi disc or anything) and I am striking out. Any suggestions?

They are being run completely off the USB. Essentially a duplicate OS is booted off the USB and everything is loaded/saved to the USB. Nothing to internal storage other then the updated kernel which opens up the device

I am trying to figure out where to get the games. I have done everything thing else. Is there a website? Edit: I went to www.arcadepunks.com/download-playstation-classic-pack/ to down load the games and then I placed some into the transfer files. Here's what the file text looks like: v3128gbpscBS.part001. There are several parts to it. I loaded part 1 thru 20 into the transfer file and nothing happened on the Bleemsync page on the PS1 mini. I didn't see any new games.

Yep it does. Just include all the bin/cue files together in the folder and it should be able to sort them. This includes multi disk games or games with multiple tracks

Edwin I tried adding a game that had both, namely Resident Evil 2, and it ended up not loading past the initial PlayStation logo on startup. The game has the files disc 1 track 1, disc 1 track 2, disc 2 track 1, disc 2 track 2, and cue files for both.

Edwin I’ve also had problems with Dragon Warrior 7, a 2 disc game. The game loads and runs fine, except that the games are separate games on the menu. I think my problem may lie in the cue files.

Had 80 games on before and they all worked but had a tone more games so got a bigger memory updated to the update before this new one because I wanted to be able to plug the power into my TV instead of the wall and used the UI website to put about 20 of the games back on but it kept crashing so I left it for a awhile so now updated to this new update put about 100 games in the transfer folder only about 5 have shown up and the art work is not showing just shows a box that says mod my classic and 1 of the games that is 2 discs is showing as 2 separate games not had chance to test see if they even play

I started it all again from scratch as if I was doing it for the first time instead of updating only added about 20 games just to try it before adding 100 and it failing again all 20 have transferred and even have the artwork the only issue is Dino Crisis has the artwork for suikoden II and for some reason it doesn't recognise Dragon Warrior 7 as a 2 disc game it puts the discs as separate games and don't have the artwork either

so I added a ton of games. But I noticed dragon warrior 7 didn't show up with a photo and its separated the disks for some reason. Also a game or two doesn't work. So I just remove the folder from the games folder when I want to get rid of something off the system? If I do this, will it mess up the carousal ? Seems like all the folders are numbered in the games folder and I don't want to screw anything up by deleting one (blank games showing up on the carousal etc. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

I was having issues playing Syphon Filter 2 & 3. I read that games that have the letter "P" as the 3rd letter of the title may have issues playing since it changes the file to JP.bin. I changed it in the bios to work fine. Does this sound like a familiar issue at all?

Simply dropping them in the transfer folder isn't working, I've already done it once with a few games so I know I did right the first time. hi..i've just followed all the tutorials to the letter and now when i add games to the transfer folder and then plug the usb back into my ps classic these games don't appear to have transferred across top the carousel..i also have included the cover art as shown too..any help please...regards garry

I didn't back up my back up folder so now that contents are gone. I tried to install bleamsync, but on the PSC it would fail to backup everything and I can't get it to work. Anyone have any suggestions for me?

When it does another back up, you have to leave the backup data on the USB drive. If you remove it, it will just make a new back up over and over.

What program do you guys use to convert .bin into .pbp files? I tried Pxs2Psp but there is sime files missing to be able to convert them to PBP. Thanks

Doesn't work for me, I followed you vidds to this step by step, but the games do not show up in my PSC and they do not get copied into the Games folder either. USB is a Sandisk 3.0 32 GB, formatted to exFat.

Are you using an otg adaptor or are you connecting into the front usb port? Does bleemsync even load? It sounds like you need to get a Older usb 2.0

@@Restalgia Thanx for the reply man! Everything in general works fine... however some multidisc game work and a few others don't and I don't know why. One of the games got 2 bin files per cue (track 1 and Track 2) but the cue file does not have any of these in it's name and I get the error message ( (disc 1) . Cue I believe it was. And the other one I got problems with is a 4 disc game, all file names match but the title of the game has a comma in it... I tried to remove it but then the image for the game is missing and the game isn't even trying to boot up.

Yep, exact same way. Make a folder and put your games in the folder. You just need to navigate to them in retroarch just like before.

I would assume just drop them into the appropriate folder under Games. I think that's how I did it in V.4.

@@edwin99901 no what that means, is you can't play snes on research through the bleemsync interface. Do you know how there is a new option to log into research right from within bleemsync? Like how it has it own icon? They are developing a way that you could press an icon in bleemsync ui that would load up the snes core. If you log into research directly, you can still play anything you want.
