Number 3 on our list is Boulder Canyon. After working our way through rain and mud we finally find some drier ground in Montrose Colorado. Even though it rained the night before, once we escaped the traffic of Colorado road work we were able to get onto the trail after lunch time. Will we get off the trail before dark?

Being from Colorado and responding to the construction comment “yes they just shut down whichever roads they want to for as long as they want. They also love to do 2/3 the work and then leave it conned off without progress for a couple years before they return because they will go start another project.” You learn which of us are from here and who moved here. Those of us natives know all the back roads so we can keep moving. Enjoying the series!

No. It's completely stock. On this trip I'd say the jeep and trailer plus spares was just over 8,000 lbs. Been all over the country like that.
