When i drag my tracker to the point i want it to track, everything inside the tracking window is darker...much darker. Darker than the raw with color management bypassed! Everything outside of the tracking window looks fine. (To note, I color manage my projects using Davinci Color Managed - Davinci Wide Gamut, so I don't need to do the color space transform node. My footage is Sony s-log cine/s-log3). When I hit track forward, I get the error that it cannot track, and I know it has to do with the footage inside the tracking window being so dark and not being able to distinguish a tracking point. I know this because i tracked an area that still had high contrast and it did work (but is not helpful for my purposes b/c it's on a different plane. Good tut, but please slow down and explain a little more...I'm confused why your nodes have 3 white dots and mine only have 2. I'm confused why when I make the background node my background and the paint my foreground, both windows are transparent. Please point out possible troubleshooting like this - you've obviously customized your view. The type of editor/colorist watching this video is likely not one who uses fusion much, but needs to remove blemishes and therefore needs to have a quick lesson just to achieve this one needed skill. Additionally, how do you handle multiple blemishes?

omg this was so freakin helpful! I removed a floating moving object from a scene of me underwater at the pool and I spent way too much time with other tutorials that was like do it frame by frame. haha no. super unhelpful and super slow! This was so much easier and faster to do!

@@taylornoel I think you need to highlight the node prior to where you are inserting the tracker tool before you enter the search bar -> select tracker. The 90 degree angle may be because he has an "arrange tools" setting set to grid or connected.

@@johnf.hebert1409 the tracker node only needs input.. its getting it from the previous node. don't let the graph lines fool you, there are two pipes coming from the "color space" node.. one to the tracker and one to the output.. but they look like a single line. without orthogonal pipes setting you would see two clear lines coming from the color node.

Can't you do this in the color page in 30 seconds? What advantages does doing it in Fusion give you?

After I saw your comment I was able to find the EASY way to do this, which is to do it from the colour tab. Thank you so much as I really don't like Fusion and there is zero reason to use it for my needs.

his pipes are set to ortho. its not literally outside of the stream. its just branched out in parallel, not in series

@@fixmysync For complicated blemish tasks, Fusion offers the control that I needed for a tricky shot I was doing. The color page technique I usually use didn't work so well, and this method worked!
