I've been interested in this kind of workflow, but it's hard to find people actually talking about their process. I appreciate this series. The side view in the last few seconds I found really helpful too. Definitely gonna check out the whole playlist. Ctrl+Shift+B is a lovely hotkey I need to use more.

A shortcut that is very useful is ctrl+R instead of right clicking and selecting subdivision. 右クリック+細分化よりCTRL+Rは便利ショートカット。

I'm glad I found this tutorial. The auto-translate does a pretty good job translating the basic concepts. This, coupled with knowing the Blender interface and general modeling, the fundamentals of what you are teaching are understood.

How to you translate the video mine said Japan translates not English
@ehclipse87643 жыл бұрын
ye can you tell us how you were able to auto translate it? I've been looking at the occasional english text that pops up so I'm somewhat following the tutorial. But is there a way for it to have captions?
@gdog81703 жыл бұрын
@@HarosGaming just press auto translate then choose english

If Auto-translate not available: Subtitle/CC > (Blue link below) Settings > (Check) Include auto-generated captions (when available)
At last a long waited. Really wish this showed up my recommendation earlier but no no. But i'm glad that i stumbled upon you channel. Even though i don't understand Japanese but i like how you put on subtitle cc. And i subbed to your channel.

Nevermind, my adblocker was to blame. If you can't read the subtitles, turn off adblock. You'll be doing the bro a favour anyway
@alexaki994 жыл бұрын
@@rorymercury8530 I don't think it has any relevance to subtitles if you have ublock or not, expect if it's extremely strict. For me they don't work either way and I'm sad
@rorymercury85304 жыл бұрын
@@alexaki99 That's unfortunate, my guy If it helps, I use Opera browser, its free and has built in VPN and Adblock. Turning off both for me fixed my problem ;-; that being said, the subtitles aren't very accurate and mmCG has a rather unique way of speaking that tends to confuse the auto translate. It helps, but you should be able to get by without them :)
This tutorial is fantastic. I don't even need the closed captions really, but they add a lot to this tutorial. Some of them are kind of mistranslated, but in a way that makes me wonder if it really is all that inaccurate. An example of one of the ones that made me chuckle more because it made far more sense than it should; 22:29 When explaining an edge was too flat and needed more vertices to round it out "And this is a town where the country is a little too big, so I'll prepare the enemy like this and say it."

Thank you for your comment! What a odd translation...😅 I'm sorry I'm not speaking smoothly😅 I've got the knack for talking clearly in recent videos I think the translation is improving:-)

Thanks for the Tutorial, Even with the language barrier I appreciate your teaching style in a way that makes it easy to understand even with some odd translations caused by the auto translate.

Thank you for your comment! I'm glad to hear that! It seems that automatic translation is difficult in Japanese For example, When I say "knee" in Japanese as "Nii ~", it is translated as "Brother" in English. Because, "Brother" is pronounced as "Nii ~ san" In Japanese, so it will be mistranslated.

This, so far, is the most methodical anime-style 3D character modelling video that I have found . You also stressed/highlighted the underlying concept/topology behind your method. I might have to redo my current trial model since I used a video reference that is on time lapse; and oftentimes I'm lost that I improvise. I fear though that my improvisation might have messed up my topology. Regardless, great job putting up these videos! You earned a like and a sub from me, and looking forward to watch the rest of your tutorials.
