Thanks for this! I was so confused trying to put the textures one by one adding it in blender and was so frustrated how to do those side strips on the clothes, i never thought we can edit it in photoshop and import it! I'll try it, hopefully it works. Thanks, and keep making more videos :)

The design is visible in Shading tab, but when i switch to Layout. It is a plain t shirt. How do i fix that. Everything is ok till 4:19

Hi there. It may be that you aren't in the correct 'shading' type. It may be in the default shading mode. Perhaps try pressing 'Z' and selecting the material shader option. If that doesn't work please let me know and i'll double check. Sorry for the late response

Hello. Yes you can modify the original file since it has no protection on it. We will try to make a new tutorial on how to make your own model as soon as we can. If you manage to make your own before then, we would love to see it!

Whenever I try to connect the new designed PNG, nothing changes on the shirt. It is still the same color it was before with no new design. How can I fix this?

Hi there! Try disconnecting and reconnecting the node to the main shader. Sometimes it just needs to refresh the new png image.

Everything works fine until I add the my custom image texture, then it goes on to my t shirt template inside out. So the design I’ve created on photoshop is showing on the inside of the shirt rather than the outside. Desperate for some help

That’s odd. Are you using the same t shirt model? It may be an issue with the specific model. Either that or perhaps the normals are reversed? What appears on the outside where you would want the texture to appear?

Hey! So basically I just extruded one edge upwards to make a right angled surface, like a wall. Then using the bevel shortcut I just curved that edge so that the change in direction was less noticeable. It’s not vital to the tutorial. Just for presentation. Hope that sort of clears things up.

Good question. I’m not too sure. I’ve never tried to rig it but I assume it would follow the same principles and you would notice some stretching of the design with the model. If it has a cloth simulation performed on it, it seems to work fine. I’m not sure if that answers your question though. If you’re looking to animate clothing, marvellous designer is a good tool. You can then take that into blender or C4D and texture it afterward

Hi there. It could possibly work. It depends on the manufacturer and their requirements so it's difficult to say for sure. But as far as i know, they would let you know what they need from you and their specific 'UV layout'.

Hello! Well you can make them in Photoshop. You see the UV layout at about 1:59. If you take that into PS you can determine where you place your 'design bits' to appear on the jersey. I hope that answers your question but let me know if you have any issues. I'd be happy to help

I wouldn't say either is better than the other. They each have strong qualities. I personally haven't used C4D that much but from what I hear and see it seems to be pretty amazing but you do have to pay for it. Blender on the other hand is free, easy to get used to and there are so many videos online about how to use it. I'd recommend trying both if you can and see which fits better for you.
