@emmanm56332 жыл бұрын
what's the diffrence between shift d and alt d?
@webdraftdesign2 жыл бұрын
@@emmanm5633 Shift+D means you make a completely separate copy. Alt+D means you make a copy, but the mesh data is linked. If you edit one of those copies you will change the original object at the same time because they are linked. I use Alt+D 90 % of the time. It is fantastic!

I would of left them on the particle system, so you can make tweaks, technically these are soft body not rigid, they should have some slight deformation when colliding
@KevBinge5 жыл бұрын
They are soft bodies but that would have been another 10 minutes on the video lol. I really didn't want to go into soft body calculation time and the associated data crunch for this either. Maybe I'll do another one on that soon. At the speed they are going at, it's not going to be noticeable, and they don't really collide here, but yeah, that would add some interest if they start bumping and squishing slightly.

This is great...thank you! Is there a way to make something like this (that doesn't involve rotation) loop seamlessly?
@KevBinge5 жыл бұрын
Hmmm.... that’s a tricky one. There are lots of moving parts. You could maybe evenly distribute the objects and fly the camera through it. You’d need to have everything drift back to the start position though once the camera comes back around.

Very nice tutorial, really cool ! I'm running into an issue here, when I activate the play button for some reason quite a few of my red blood cell instantly doubles, it creates a second one, the second one is created along side the original.
@KevBinge5 жыл бұрын
Yes. That. I had the same issue, so I turned down the particles per face to “one” and turned down the total amount of particles to something really low. Also, I made sure to clear the cache by going in and turning down the field strength, then hitting rewind to first frame, and turning it back up (there might be a way to do that better but it works so I showed that.). That should be the issue there but sometimes things get “ghosted.” Try that and see if it helps.
@sahildalal97984 жыл бұрын
For some reason, the blood cells just move up for me, instead of moving and colliding after adding the force field. Any ideas to fix that?

just out of curiosity did you do the white blood cells with procedural or just a mesh or combination?

I did it the very same way as the red blood cells, just without Sculpting and scaling. I also left the displace scale a bit smaller to make it a bit “spikey.” Does that help?
