Great video as always. Two things. Please activate the thing that shows the key presses. That way when you say "go to the local mode" if someone forgot what's the shortcut they'll be able to see what key was pressed. And second: I just learned how to model a dice 21:06 😅

Hello, my friend, how are you? I've been following our teacher’s work on KZbin, and honestly, there are so many high-quality lessons that I find myself thinking, “Wow, how is he not charging for this?” It's incredible, right? Also, may I give you a suggestion? Why not write down the shortcuts in a notebook or a digital document? There are so many lessons, and whenever you have a question, you can pause the video and look it up in your notes. Plus, the brain learns much faster that way, believe me! And since this is a learning process, when you’re working on personal projects, you won’t have tutorial videos to help. So, having everything written down for study outside the computer could be really useful. Of course, it’s just advice, and you’re free to follow it or not. I’m mentioning it because it’s been working for me, and who knows, maybe it could work for you too. Peace!

@@rodrigomoreira5197 Yes the lessons are great and this is one of the best out there to take you from beginner to intermediate level. However the Screencaps it's just a tip, and it's just a checkbox in blender. It helps the student follow up and catch up faster by looking at the bottom left of the screen rather than stopping to search for multiple notes in a notebook.

@@ROVideos Of course, you're not wrong, but what I'm trying to say is that once all these lessons are over, it’s easier to have the content written down, like in a study notebook. It makes it simpler to consult than having to go back to the videos and search minute by minute for where the shortcut was shown. Does that make sense? Of course, it's just a suggestion-you can do whatever works best for you. Happy studying!

@@rodrigomoreira5197 Yes, that's true and it can work for you and me. Remember this is KZbin, some people (most of the people) will find this one video and will have no idea of the previous ones. And if the video creator activates the screencap, the viewer won't have to go back and watch all other videos just to understand this one. As a KZbinr myself I know how important it is to make each video a standalone package even if it's part of a series. Thank you for the tips they are very good for studying.

@@ROVideos Of course, absolutely, you're really right! I hadn't looked at it from that angle; I was analyzing it just as a student and not as someone with experience in creating content. What you said makes so much sense. Thank you for that insight, and here's to good studies for both of us!

Thanks and good tutorial. For NEW people should include things like applying scale and angle snap option for knife. Did not work on angling knife somehow for me. Angles for me were shift a otherwise nothing. Did I do something wrong?
@mim-repository45573 ай бұрын
Thank you, Mike! 😊 I'm glad you liked the tutorial! And you're absolutely right-applying scale and covering the angle snap for the knife tool would help beginners a lot. As for the angle issue,make sure you're in one of the orthographic views (front, right, top, etc.) using 1, 3, or 7 on the numpad. It's important to be in orthographic mode for the angle constraint to work correctly. If you're in perspective mode, you won’t get the desired result with the angle snapping. Give that a try, and let me know how it goes! 😊
