i like your series very much, i liked your videos and subscribed to your channel. Very epic way of introducing and explaining stuff. i would like to point out that the bevel angle limit is for angles that are above the limit (which is 30 degrees by default) thank you for taking the time to make such a wonderful tutorial series, your work quality is much higher than most of the most subscribed blender channels on youtube!

Thank you so much for your support and for subscribing! 🙏 I'm glad you're enjoying the series and found the explanations helpful. Great catch on the bevel angle limit - that's exactly right! I truly appreciate your kind words; it means a lot to hear such positive feedback. 😊

I had one question. Let's say we are in front orthographic mode and we are scaling or making a change to the part of our object. Next we switched to right orthographic or top orthographic to match the changes we had originally made in front orthographic, so my question was, if we are making a change in the object in the right view then why is it that there is no change automatically made to the same object front view? Like when you adjust in front view, a change is made to the object in right view as well? Why not vice-versa??
@mim-repository45574 ай бұрын
Great question, Shantanu! When you're working in orthographic views, changes you make in one view, like scaling or moving an object, primarily affect that view's axis. For instance, if you make a change in the front view, it impacts the X and Y axes, but not the Z axis, which is why you see the change reflected in other views like the right or top. However, when you switch to the right view and make a change, you're affecting the Y and Z axes, not the X axis. Since the front view relies on the X and Y axes, it doesn’t automatically update based on changes made in the right view. This is because each view corresponds to different axes, and changes aren’t inherently mirrored unless you specifically adjust them in each relevant view. I hope this clears things up!

hey when I am applying the second bevel on foot of the nightstand its not working like it should be....I dont know what I am doing wrong?
@mim-repository45574 ай бұрын
Thanks for reaching out! To fix the issue: 1- First, check if the first bevel modifier's limit method is set to "Weight." Make sure you've selected the surrounding edges and set the min bevel weight to 1 in the side panel under the "Item" tab (you can access the side panel by pressing N). 2- For the second bevel, ensure the limit method is set to the default, which is "Angle." 3- If that doesn’t resolve the issue, try adjusting the Angle property in the bevel modifiers and see if that helps. If this fixes the problem, please share it here in the comments so everyone can benefit from your experience. If not, let me know, and we’ll troubleshoot further. We're also working on setting up a Discord for support, which should be ready soon. Thanks for your patience!🙏

@@mim-repository4557 for second bevel which edges do we need to select....coz first bevel worked well for me then I did shade auto smooth and after that when I am applying second bevel modifier my shape start getting distorted....do I have to select particular edges before the second bevel??
@mim-repository45574 ай бұрын
@@ravisingh-hb8bo First, make sure you've applied the scale (Ctrl+A and click on Apply). For the first bevel modifier, double-check that you didn’t crank it up too much-set it to around 0.1. If it's too high, it can cause issues. Also, increase the segments in the bevel modifier to 6. For the second bevel modifier, keep the amount very low, like 0.01, and set the segments to 4. There's no need to select any edges for the second modifier. If these steps don't help, try applying the first modifier, then add another bevel modifier specifically for beveling the top and bottom edges. To apply the first modifier, simply hover your mouse over it and press Ctrl+A. Let me know how it goes!

@@mim-repository4557 nah man...still i am getting the same issue....tried everything but its still not bevelling the top and bottom edges... btw thanks for all the suggestions...for the time being I just skipped the second modifier and did mirroring just after the first modifier... and hey setting a discord server should be a good idea to get connected and understand everyones's problem better
@mim-repository45574 ай бұрын
@@ravisingh-hb8bo Thanks for trying those suggestions and letting me know. If you're still facing issues, it might be helpful to try modeling the foot of the nightstand again from scratch. This way, you can follow the steps carefully and possibly catch any mistakes. Sometimes starting fresh can resolve hidden issues. Feel free to check out the video again to see if any steps might have been missed or done differently. And remember, we’re setting up a Discord server soon for better support, so hang tight! If you need any more help, just let me know. 😊
