2d paper plan? Have you seen anyone doing this or this is something that you need and trying to figure out if the conversion is possible? I'm also not sure what exactly the 2d paper plan you want to get from the 3d model? I haven't seen anything regarding this topic, but can dive into a small research when I have time and check 🤔

@3d.errorist yes I have seen people do but that ways are not effective And I wanted it for modelling rc planes and having it as 2d plans

@@3d.errorist Dude, you have no idea. It’s been a while since I made my Blender Donut so I’ve lost so much of the skill I learned. After seeing this pop up I was able to muddle my way through some of the other challenges and its currently printing on my 3D printer. No worries on the bodyguard front. 😂 I can admire from the distance of KZbin. Now that I’m subscribed you may hear from me again, though. Don’t take it as stalking, just appreciation. 😉

@@3d.errorist oh man, I know! I’ve been so focused on photography and video the last six months that I haven’t touched Blender but I still see new update videos from all you Blender folks! I really want to dig into procedural generation but I have to get the basics down, first. I was printing my company logo. I tried making it hollow on the inside but it ended up being too thin on one of the faces (it’s a small tester) so that area failed. It’s currently in the printer again, as a solid print. We’ll see how this one turns out! I’d be happy to fly a drone out your way just as soon as it’s legal to fly beyond visual line of sight. No idea where you’re at but I doubt it’s anywhere near where these eyes can see from where I’m standing. 😂

​ @Dave Grenier thats cool! not sure what you do with the video, but photography can definitely boost your work in blender. Drop your Instagram if you post your work somewhere. Good mindset getting it slow and mastering basics 👏🏻and yes procedural are amazing, but a solid machine could be a must at one point 😅 good luck with the print! One day I’m planning to get one, so I might hit you up with a question about it one day 😁 well, who knows! maybe in the future, we will have a technology harry potter style. Instead of sending an owl with a secret message or package, we will send a drone to each other lol windy Denmark! so make sure your drone can handle a lot before trying to send it out. Maybe better to go with the "Chinese ballon" haha 😆

I haven't tried this, but as long as you convert your image into the SVG format, it should work. I'm just not 100% sure how satisfying the results can be in the end. There are many websites that can convert your image into SVG format for free. If you do try, please let me know how it went :)
