Greg, have been playing with the new 3.0 panel. This update is tremendous, especially with all of the added simplicity you have built in. Thanks again for all of your work on the tool.

Sounds great! ... but I really need to find the reason why I always end up with a -100 contrast image when blending multiple exposure with limo masks. Maybe I am overdoing it at some stage. But I tried as little as possible while still eliminating all burned areas in a high contrast scene. Still I have to crank up the contrast really really high afterwards in order to have a half way decent result. Any tips?

Thank you Greg for this wonderfull software and the recent upgrade. I wish to ask you in this video at the 5.11 mark once you clik the enter key the the ajusting layer is swith on as it was with the green mask on. When I do that I have to swith on manually the ajeting laye and the if box to see the result, any help is appreciated. Thanks
@gregbenzphotography7 жыл бұрын
erfut I'm not sure I understand your question. I had the "If:under" visualization on and used the "if:under" picker to retarget the layer (clicking enter was just confirming my choice for the picker). It automatically updates, as the "If:under" visualization updates automatically. If you are using "If:this" type of BlendIf, the visualization is static and must be updated by double-clicking the "If" button.
@erfut7 жыл бұрын
Greg, once you upgrade your mask with the colour picker and you hit OK, it seems that the layer mask is update automatically including the mask, I have to thick on the layer mask and then hit the IF button to have the mask update. It is no big deal, so not to worry about, I asked asked.
@gregbenzphotography7 жыл бұрын
erfut if you use"if:under" and clicked the "if" visualization previously, the green mask overlay will continue to update as you try different "if:under" masks. The only reason you would need to click "If" later would be either because it wasn't previously turned on, or you are using an "If:this" mask.

HI Greg thanks for the beautiful video! lumenzia 3 is amazing may i ask you 2 questions? 1) i have installed on cc 2015 and cs6 but under cs6 i have not the red,yellow,green,cyan,blue and magenta button ,is it normal? 2) i see you are using 2017 , may i ask you which do you think it's better in performance? once you did suggest me cc 2014 thanks again for the video and lumenzia 3!
@gregbenzphotography8 жыл бұрын
Rachele Derossi the CS6 panel is different due to the design of CS6 itself. Please see the written manual and shortcut list in the ZIP download to take advantage of color masking via key. CC2017 is great. Refine edge is different, but available with a tricky shortcut (search for refine edge on my blog). I think 2017 is great. I would install and open the advanced options to prevent the update from uninstalling 2015, then you can try and use which ever version you prefer. Most users have jumped to 2017.

hi thanks Greg , i haven't found photoshop 2017 refine edge on your blog ,even i have used the search feature cheers

Rachele Derossi it's here: gregbenzphotography.com/photography-tips/master-the-refine-edge-tool-in-photoshop But I was mistaken, I didn't list the shortcut. I think you hold while clicking Select / Select and Mask

Hi Greg is there a version that will work with Elements 13 ?
@gregbenzphotography7 жыл бұрын
Camera Phill no, Elements does not have the capabilities required. My free panel includes actions which might work (not sure).

As you probably know, there are some quite different luminosity-panels on the market, but concerning quality, range, simplicity, layout, optimizing filesize & history-states, ... - in every aspect YOU RULE THEM ALL !!! With the 3.0-update you are even more avantgarde to your competitores, I'm sorry, but can't afford, NOT buying your panel - THANX !
