I spray my base coat at 25 psi and clear coat at 32 psi with Sata and about 28 with iwata supernova.

@eviljoker303 I love both guns honestly. I switch back and forth between the two. I do use my Sata more often though yes. My ws400 has a 1.4 I spray it at about 28psi. My sata 5500 rp has a 1.3 with the I nozzle.

Just got 5500 1.2I for clear and I like it. However had a ws400 1.3 for years and that to me had the wow factor. Thinking of trying 1.3tip in my sata just wondering what pressure you are spaying at?

For my sata I spray at about 28-32 psi for clearcoat. The 1.3 is perfect for sata I think. 1.2 is a bit to slow for my style with clear. I also have a ws400 evo, but I have a 1.4 in that. I love it.
