Blendjet isn't working

I used both of them twice. And they were working. Now they don't work. On both its like the light when I press the button goes from blue and red. I'm confused because this absolutely shouldn't be happening ------ ORDER #691251

If the light blinks 3 times that means it’s locked. To unlock, hold the button for 3 seconds until light blinks blue 3 times and it should be working again for the next click.

I had the same problem and just discovered the solution.... There's a small magnet that is not well secured to the plastic cylinder right where the arrow is placed. It fell out. It needs to be sensed by the magnet inside the base where that arrow is located in order to be deemed safe to blend. If you can find the magnet (it is VERY small), you can slip it back into the slot and it should work. Just be careful to secure it and pay attention when cleaning.

Someone suggested a magnet McGuyver use on the BlendJet. Pass a magnet, (I used a larger fridge door magnet) around the blend switch for 5-10 seconds and the baby works again. Now i can drink smoothies. Now i can be happy.😊

I have exactly the same problem. I have two as well; bought at different times from different retailers. My magnets are in tact and I did not burn the motor out. I've tried everything. They just stopped working after about 2 uses.

My daughter bought one and it didn't work straight out the box and it was buggin the crap outta me. I saw a vid on KZbin where a guy put a 🧲 around the switch and it started working. I tried it and it worked for me 🤷🏻‍♂️ weird!

Mine did the same thing. I contacted the company and because I bought this from someone on line they could not help me but said that the flashing blue and red light meant that it was a charging issue and I could buy replacement parts in their web site. After reading the comments, I remember I found a small magnet in my sink, I put it in the little slot in the bottom of the cup and it worked. there is alittle slot in the bottom where the magnet slips into. I need to superglue it back. This is probably why there is a blendjet 2.

It is in lock mode. Press and hold the button for 3-5 seconds until the light turns from purple to blue. It'll work again.

Hi All, i have discovered it is the container which is twisting too tight or too loose., then it won't mix. Also the charger female connection is breaking down too quickly for the amount of times we have used ours. This failing is poor beyond the price we pay.

Try pressing and hold the power button down for 3 seconds, a blue light will flash 3 times and it will unlock. Mine was in locked mode. To lock it again do th same again, but a purple light will flash 3 times. This is used for travelling.

I have a flashing red and purple light which the manual says is the battery is dead. However when I plug it in I have a solid blue light which the manual says means fully charged. I have the arrows lined up and it still will not turn on. This is out of the box. I still haven’t blended anything with it yet.

these blenders have a small arrows on the base of the motor and the jar, those arrows have to be aligned, otherwise it will not work.

My wife's was just doing this. I made sure that when arrow was in line with the power button it was really snug. Snug to the point of me not being able to tighten any more. It powered up like it was supposed to with just the blue light on

Yes I just got mines and the arrows will not line up if I make them get very tight it gets the arrow closer to the other arrow but Im not going to continue to do that! Its so tight I can’t twist it off!

I saw the company website they said if you run it empty then the motor will be burned. I think that’s why our blends are not working i think we burned the motor 😂

I have two blendjet with same problem ..but solution is u have to open base of blendjet and reconnect the wire terminals with the battery. Because sometime these terminals get detached during a minor shaking or washing blendjet .My blendjet Woking perfectly after this process. I hope this will help u all too

wahab abb : when u will open the base with screwdriver. Then U will see itself that one terminal of the battery wire is got loose. U just have to reconnect it with the appropriate place from where it got detached.( or u can take it to the electrician who could repair it)

Ok guys so we took mine apart and the battery terminal rusted off so I bought a better battery on tenergy and will solder it on you still get light because the light is not powered by the battery

If you've made sure the jar is in the right place but are still seeing the lights, it is possible that there is a problem with the magnet[s] in the bottom of the jar. As a safety precaution, there are 1-3 magnets on the bottom of the jar near the arrow, which must be aligned correctly with the power button on the base or the blades won’t spin. I know these magnets are annoying, but they're there to protect you! If you could remove the jar and take a look at the bottom to see if they are in the right place, that would be great.

I have a total of 6 blendJets. 4 in pastel colors the 5th in black for my husband and a hot pink for my baby purées. 2 already stopped working and it hasn’t even been 2 months. I just started using the 2 new ones. It won’t turn on or charge I’m so upset and disappointed. Sadly only 1 blendJet has guarantee and it isn’t for the ones that stopped working. :( Best luck to y’all!

There's tiny magnet at the bottom of the clear cylinder. It can easily fall off when you take it apart to wash or clean. I found mine in the sink. Placed it back on and viola, it started working again.

If you have the new version there is a small hole at the bottom of the base, it’s a reset button line the arrows even if it’s a little lose. Press the reset button and hit power it will blend. Then you can tighten the base and if it’s to far from the arrows it will turn red just adjust and it will work. I just did mine, good luck everyone.

My sister clicked the button 3 times & then held it down one time. Wait for the purple light to go all the way around when ur pressing it down. And then it worked again like normal

I had the same problem when you wash the blendjet in a high pressure tap, water gets in through a tiny hole below the blend jet and ruins the battery. you have to replace the battery

Try shifting the middle part so the arrows aren’t matching. You will see it lights blue. I think the magnet inside misalign during shipping. I just got the blender 2 today and couldn’t start it. But I slowly turned and it works when my arrows are not matching. Good luck.

on blend jet 2 there is a small pin hole get a paper clip or a toothpick and just reset it its like it has it own reset in a old dig clock after i did this is powered right on your pin hole is right at the bottom of the base i think its a safety for the device so it wont burn it out just use a paper clip for better safety so it wont bust off inside hope this help who ever has a issue .. i donk know if blend jet1 has this pin hole check your device..

The battery terminal inside the base was detached due to rust, you have to attach by soldering it,, and boom it works just fine :)

*solved it* released there was a third gasket for the base and it still didn’t work but then someone on the comment thread said that it may be missing it’s magnet and I found it and now it works!* I don’t know why but my blender 1 arrows won’t align anymore. The blender arrows were aligned before because I was cleaning it. I then disassembled it to get a deep clean on the gaskets and lids and bottle. But now my arrows won’t allow. The arrow on the clear part tightens past the arrow on the base and I keep getting blinking blue and red lights. Any help on this would be appreciated! Also, it is fully charged and no water damage! *new information* all gaskets are on correctly. Bottle it tighten. Someone said the blender won’t blend without liquid so I added water and noticed that it was leaking! Need help!

Nah it’s a shortage in the base. The same thing happened to mine and I wasn’t even using it that much. She charged it overnight to make sure it had enough power after it had already stopped working.
