get a foot pedal and you can use both your hands to play the guitar or synths, piano or sing some harmonies i messed with this when this was in beta its pretty dope alternative even though i already had my loop pedal i found this interesting

It didin't really work with my foot switch. Are there different foot switches?
@BlezzBeats4 жыл бұрын
Theres an informative forum post on the NI forums about this, search for "MK3 and the undocumented footswitch...". Some pedals have one or two switches, in experimentation mode I'd try every possible combination. Any pedal should technically work, but one pedal that definitely will is the Boss Fs - 6. Will try with mine when I get a moment.

Hello, awesome work. Your tutors are awesome and so helpful. Can you give some info about the mic you are using and how you connect it to MK3. Is it possible to connect it direct to MK3 or a sound card needed? REGARDS
@BlezzBeats5 жыл бұрын
Glad you like them man! This microphone is a pretty generic condenser mic (it's even called "Generis" GC-2e). It's phantom powered so it requires a +48V output from your soundcard, which the Maschine doesn't have. So I have it plugged in to my soundcard. You COULD plug a phantom powered condenser mic into the Maschine if you have a separate preAmp (pre-amplifier) that powers your microphone. Lots of good microphones to choose from depending on your budget. What you can plug in directly is generally a dynamic microphone. A Shure SM58 is a safe bet..

I was planning on selling my mk3. And I was thinking about how a looper would be nice in my hardware livesetup. Now I'll have to experiment using the mk3 as a looper and the option to discretely record and loop all the individual channels on my elektrons and other synths etc through aggregate audio device. I could see that being really cool performance-wise.
@BlezzBeats5 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a really dope idea! That's a pro of the Maschine, it's not standalone but more modular in a sense that you get more flexibility with audio interfaces n shit. Let me know how it turns out.

They just don't have the capacity to hear the potential, or to appreciate the raw push and pull of the glitchy out of sync sort of vibe something like this can generate... Too busy listening with a filter of preconceived notions and expectations, unable to hear shit from the heart... No worries, though, robots like these ones a born obsolete.
