What happens if the element goes out? Do we in theory need to replace the whole kettle?

I'll let Larry chime in, but the kettle has a lifetime warranty, and anything considered electrical, which would be the heating elements, and the plug area has a 5-year warranty.

Great question! The element has a warranty for 5 years and the kettle has a lifetime warranty, very similar to the BoilerMaker™ G2.

​@@BlichmannEngineering That doesn't answer the question, though. Once the burner fails... and burners fail... then a whole new kettle is needed? A lifetime warranty on the kettle isn't worth much when the burner fails, if you can't fix it.

Larry, you need to crop this baby and toss it out as a short too. YT has been doing an amazing job with the shorts after changing some policies late last year, which seems to be working now. (We no longer have to compete with a bunch of young girls in skimpy outfits popping up on every other short.)
