From my experience with Fahrenheit Cologne, I would hazard that the EDT, the Parfum, and many of its flankers are worthy of the Dior namesake. A true powerhouse brand.

@@BlindBuysFragrance but a lot of their fragrances got a lack of longlasting especially the original Fahrenheit, so for me the Fahrenheit Parfum (Winter) and the Fahrenheit cologne is currently the better choice

I purchased Dior Fahrenheit blind and I didn’t really like it.

I’m still a little unsure of what the Parfum will smell like. The EDT has quite the reputation as a strong fragrance for sure, though. Sorry you didn’t like your purchase, I hope you are able to offload it and recoup some of the loss!

That scent is a real hidden gem to me, thanks for the great review and that you actually took your time to let it grow on you and judge the drydown properly. As you said it smells different on a test strip, the opening is really meh but the drydown is a superb blend which never really loses its freshness. I guess many people dismiss it because they either only use a test strip or just gave it a few minutes and had the initial citrus burst mistaken for the actual scent, but to me it‘s all about the drydown and its two-layered composition: initial citrus burst, then heavy violets come out for 15-30 minutes, then it smells like soap (and pretty feminine) for around an hour and then it dries down into a beautiful, masculine, aquatic juicy and spicy freshness which is heavily refined and an awesome blend alltogether that lost all of the initial citrus-sweetness. To me it’s a very modern and versatile take on Fahrenheit and it grew on me as well. I really LOVE(D) Aqua and went back and forth between the two in the beginning but now it‘s 100% clear to me that this one is much better overall. Enjoy and grab a backup bottle if you can, once people realize what this is about (I think they already did unfortunately) this may get even pricier.

As it was my first experience for anything ‘Fahrenheit’, I can’t speak to how it compares to the others in the line up, but I also agree that this turned out to be a real diamond in the rough. I don’t think I’ve seen it for sale on discounters again since purchasing it, unfortunately, otherwise it would definitely be a good pickup!

I wore the OG around the 2000s and I liked Aqua a lot but wouldn‘t wear them these days. The Cologne is much more ‚modern‘ and without any edges, that‘s why many dislike it I guess but that‘s what makes it so great to me, you basically can‘t go wrong with it and the drydown has a very masculine blend without being offensive. You are from the US I guess? Prices are much higher over there unfortunately, if you are from the UK (or other places in Europe) you can still get it for a decent price, but US / Canada prices are beyond good and evil.
