Also a partner shouldn't be seen purely romantically, but also as a good friend who is there for you in other ways than just romantically and who you can have fun with in other ways too. Sure, staying friends with a toxic ex and maybe even falling for them again is a red flag, but that's also not really being "friends", but rather just being dependent or obsessed, so that doesn't have anything to do with my comment IMO. All in all, being able to transition from romantic partnership to a platonic and supportive friendship is a clear sign of emotional maturity and the ability to let the ones you love live their own lives. (Also IMO it's very healthy to be friends before becoming romantic partners, since it makes you see the person in more than just your rose tinted glasses perspective of them, even before those fade later on)

Ugh I only ever wore bell bottoms once and they were WAYY too long and because I live in NY by the end of the day (always puddles and sewer drains in NY) the bottoms were so brown and gross, and I wore them with heels and they were still hella long!
