The plumber guy walked into one of my night classes my first semester of college and actually traumatized an entire 150+ person class of freshly 18 year olds that just started school. My prof. Let us all leave because he just stood there for a while and everyone automatically assumed a shooting threat. Not only will I never sign up for a late class again, but I will never not feel bad for the professors that have to deal with these types of things.

I had guy creeps like this on multiple occasions randomly approach me when I’m alone in public and I promise, it isn’t funny or goofy. It’s genuinely terrifying. When I was 16 I had to print some photos off for a school project, and the member at a Walgreens Photo Center would not leave me alone, kept following me around the store talking about how he’s too old and ugly to get a girl like me (obv begging for me to compliment him), and how I’m so beautiful I must be getting guys all the time. He literally followed me into the bathroom and I thought like, this is it, this is how I die. And even now, 5 years later, it’s still seared into my brain and I won’t go back to that Walgreens.

I feel you. When I was 14 I was fishing on a beach, my parents were down the way because I wanted to fish off the pier and no one else was really interested in doing so. A bunch of older dudes were out there and assumed I was a girl (skinny androgynous kid, had a rashguard and shorts on) and kept trying to “help” me out. Give me bait, extra tools, etc. One guy in particular kept making comments about how “he never sees girls, let alone girls your age, out fishing” and GAVE ME HIS PHONE NUMBER, literally made me fucking recite it to make sure I remembered it. Supposedly so he could meet up with me and help me fish… I was terrified, I’ve got social anxiety and being away from my parents surrounded by creepy guys with filet knives at the ready did not help. Luckily they left after a while, I went back to my parents immediately and banished his phone number from my mind, lol.

Fun fact, they can't post any of this stuff to social media without your consent. If anyone in one of these videos wants them taken down, or at least have themselves removed, they can absolutely do that. And the property owners can legally sue for them filming on property without permission. That is an actual criminal offense, and maybe if anyone actually did it, these people might stop harassing strangers for content and "clout"

I accidentally bought “Dahmer” glasses because it was the best option my doctors office had to offer (they look that way cause they have clip on sunglasses). When I have them as sunglasses nobody says anything, but when I take them off people assume I bought it because of that. It doesn’t help that I’m active in both the true crime and slasher communities. Now I hate wearing my glasses cause I don’t want to be associated with that man 🤮

Jake, this is a really weird video to comment this on but I feel like you should see it. I am in constant pain. It gets so bad that I pass out and am bedridden for weeks sometimes. I need to have surgery on my shoulder, heart problems and have horrible stomach problems that still need to be investigated further. Hearing you talk about your illness reminds me that there are always good days to look forward to.
