I once felt in love with a beautiful girl because I discovered that she knew how to sing this song from beginning to the end (and because I later discovered that she was a big fan of Blind Guardian). We used to sing The Bards Song together everytime possible and the loudest possible. We had a five month love affair, and it was one of the happiest periods of my whole life. Well, time passes and I don't know where she is now, we lost contact, but I will always remember her because of this song. You'll be forever in my memory, L.G.

I saw Blind Guardian for the first time ever in Calgary December 2010 in venue with maybe 500-1000 people. When they played this song it brought a tear to my eye. Everyone in there singing along with it is like nothing I have experienced in person at a concert before. Seems like it doesn't matter on the venue this song just plays really well live

So zwichen 15 und 19 hab ich viel Metal gehört, war 3 mal auf Wacken und auch sonst Teil der Subkultur. Headbangen geht einfach ab,.. Heute steck ich zwar mehr in der Raverszene, aber Momente wie diese, wenn man mit 80.000 Mann zu einer Melodie singt, sind mit absolut NICHTS zu vergleichen! Epische Momente!
