Vor Dir hab ich nie einen Drummer gesehen der sich so sehr mit Becken und dergleichen zugebaut hat. Mich haben immer die Fotos Deines Set Ups auf der "Tokyo Tales" beeindruckt. Das ständige Klingen irgendwelcher Crashs oder Becken ist ein echtes Markenzeichen der frühen Blind Guardian-Werke. Super 🤘🏻

Amazing!!!! from the oldest era of the Bling Guardian, incredible album with one of the best covers I have seen in Power Metal, and for me as a drum lover, to know the power and punch of one of the best drummers of the era of gold of Power Speed Metal, it was about to start, in my humble opinion mr. Thomen, you are the best in the double pedal, you have a unique style, and a great dynamism in your way of playing the drums. I am a big fan of yours and I just want to tell you that you are a great inspiration and although I don't know you in person, I see that you are a great person, greetings from Costa Rica.

Once again, yes yessssss, this is what I was talking about. Enjoying your playing with the backing track was awesome, but now with the better quality we're able to study and analize every last detail. As I said before, been listening to BG for like 20+ years now, always been really inspired to play drums thanks to the likes of you and Uli Kusch, Jörg Michael, Ingo Swichtenberg (RIP), Mike Terrana... Always tried to learn stuff from y'all and incorporate it to my drumming. But even a diehard fan like me was missing some stuff just by listening to the albums (specially the older ones where the bass drum would get kinda foggy and not really clear due to production at the time), like for example, in this song I never realized that the rythm you do in the verses with the double bass where 3 hits, two rights one left. It's kinda blowing my mind because of late I only had seen El Estepario Siberiano (fellow spanish amazing drummer) doing that and I felt that was such a clever use of the double bass drumming while keeping your stamina, really stoked to learn you´ve been doing that for over 30 years now. Thank you so much for the upgrade in cameras Thomen, you really made a great improvement and I think it will show on your subscribers. Keep on rocking!!!

Es ist immer wieder ein Vergnügen Thomen beim Trommeln zugucken zu dürfen...Der Bengel würde das ganze Kit zerdreschen wenn er denn dürfte aber strahlt eine Bierruhe aus fast wie Neil Peart... Wir müssen mal ein Bierchen trinken Onkel!
