Ai just need to be fed with all of their work to produce something in this style. The thing is, are we interested only in the final product or in the fact that behind something like Pneuma there’s four human beings, not only their musical skills but actually their whole lives, their thoughts, their view of the world. Our only chance for a healthy relationship with AI is to decide that human experience as a source of ideas and solutions (not only artistic crafts) is something we want to preserve and that we consider almost “sacred”. If we (mankind) agree on this, then AI will be a tool (funny aha ) like the others. But big tech companies do actually want this? Is this view profitable ?

Chris Allen hell yes. I have been absolutely dying for live material in any form from them other than salival for 20 years. I have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours cultivating and remastering live audio from them. I watched the video. Then i closed my eyes and played it again. So happy. I will be remastering this as well, but thank god ill finally have very little to do. Just gonna make it a little more filled out with the other instruments and voila... absolutely the best live recording since salival.

Fam, I am not a drummer but I am an audiophile who somehow got connected to Drumeo and the interview he did with Mike Portnoy. I came right over to this video to hear this song. It looks like he uses the intro percussion to begin grounding himself. He is not just playing the drums . I swear it feels like he is breathing life into the drums, swirling his energy around the beats and energy around the music. THIS can never replicated because he just IS IT. Wow!

Pneuma live, from the perspective of Danny Carey, one of the best drummers in the world imho. Seeing Tool again tomorrow night at the O2 Arena with 20,000 others. I'm prepared and expecting my mind to be completely blown, as always with a Tool gig. The musicianship is incredible and second to none, pure precision between four musicians totally connected together on stage. This might sound like an overblown statement, but they need to be witnessed live to really appreciate their craft. Progressive metal at its finest. ❤️
