Big ups to DJ Flight, one of the best Djs and she introduced me to every everyone on screen in the early days. When everyone was playing robot funk, she played the deep dark moody tracks … as she would put it. Love her shows and podcasts. Longtime fan. well - not frontin' but my home in dnb used to be at the exact opposite side of the spectrum around the time. so, not everyone's sound. interestingly i saw a lot of former drum'n'bass headz and deejays making the transition to house and minimal techno after they've been digging deep in to liquid for a while. watched their transition from behnd the counter of a recordstore, so i think that counts as first hand experience .

Cracking selection this, considering I own every record bar that Space Invader (never liked it) I’m ashamed to say I only scored 6.5 / 10. I love these blind tests for music genres I was never a listener to. I’ve been with goa/psytrance for the past 20 years and can imagine the same fun for those early 2000s releases. There are a few tracks in here I’ll seek out to hear the full version. Recently I did come across some of Seba’s work and really like his style! He has a track (forgetting name now) in the Descenders video game.
