House renovations are never fun (as far as cost and dust goes), but throw a toddler into the mix who is sensitive to noise. Or remove sight from the equation and try navigating a whole new layout that seems to be continually changing. House projects are a lot to undertake, but throw in accommodations for your special needs little guy can make it way more stressful. So happy that our main living space is basically completed!

He is doing so well!!! You should be proud of the guidance you give him. There is nothing he won't be able to accomplish in his life.

Your house is looking good! I know how overwhelming it can be to remodel, but it is so worth it in the end. It is so good to see Jensen walking around 🥰 and exploring. Wishing you all the best! 👏🏽 continue the good work

That mother son moment is something me and my visually impaired son can relate to. It’s a heartbreaking yet beautiful moment, however it’s a blessing that we are able to sympathize and give the love when there is a fall due to the impairment. Those love filled moments are what make accidents Something that we can handle.

It is so hard to see them hurt themselves, for any parent, but especially when majority of the accidents are due to the fact that they can't visually see what's in front of them. Thanks for sharing, love being able to relate to other families that understand!

How does your range work? Mine have the knobs on the front and it concerns me. Right now I watch Jhene' all the time but you know how that can go. Jensen is doing amazing!

Ours is also on the front. So that makes me nervous but just trying to be cautious. Now that we are talking about it I wonder if they make safe gaurds for that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately he is nonverbal. Some Norrie cases have people that are nonverbal or very delayed with speech. It sometimes seems like he’s close to saying something but otherwise he chatters in his own way. ❤️
