Some other blind vs. blindfold challenge that you can do are drawing pictures of animals, building things with play-doh or legos, guessing name brand pop (or what some people call soda), guessing name brand water, and guessing 3-D objects that you can buy as souvenirs from places (i.e., the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty).

I can't imagine how else it would be pronounced in any variety of Spanish. The spelling indicates one pronunciation and one pronunciation only in Spanish (to my understanding, again considering I'm not familiar with every variety). Spanish vowels are very pure. If they are ever to vary, I doubt it's to the extent of mahng-go to mayng-go (otherwise that'd be "mengo" or "meingo", as Spanish, unlike English, prefers to spell words as they're pronounced).

Well, my friend and I are from different parts of Puerto Rico and we both say it differently since dialects on the island differ. But my boyfriend is Mexican and he pronounces it the same way. Depending where you're from and the dialect can dictate. So yeah, for me as a Puerto Rican, it is how it's said. But for others, not so much. It's interesting how Latinx say the same words but differently.
