@@brianlcartwright4031 The Great Depression was written after the lead singer had spent time with his wife in Africa helping at an orphanage. Alot of the album was inspired by the disgust he felt at the church being willing to do everything but help the poor. But, he also looked at himself and his own hypocrisy. What I do love is how these songs overflow with so much meaning with/without the background and inspiration.
