This is the only Whistler video that made us really want to visit! It's so nice to see the awesome adventures outside of the park, they look way better than the in park trails!! keep the videos coming and come to Durango again so we can ride!!

Really happy to hear you feel that way. Put a ton of effort into this video, so its rewarding to hear it was liked. I'm dying to get back to Durango, it still one of my favorite spots in the US.

I loved the phrase "pilgrimage to the promised land of mountain biking" haha. My wife and I have been finishing our basement as an apartment in our newly-built house, so we can rent it and offset the mortgage (Utah housing is crazy expensive), so I haven't been able to go riding for months. I likewise haven't watched any of your videos for months, so I'm catching up. Looks like you took a break from making videos too--glad to see new content coming in. Like always, this video was fantastic. I can't wait to get back on my bike. I need to install my new grippy pedals and new drop post first though :)

Happy to hear you're catching up on the videos, but more importantly, hope you get out on the bike soon. Gotta be out there. Good luck with the apartment, housing is always a major undertaking.

Just complete, comprehensive, inspiring motivation to get out of the park! 3 Qs: chin cam? Where did you guys fly into? (you didn't drive, right?). And for how long? Thanks for the great work! - Chuck

Good vid. In sep 2018 I did exactly what he said, a day in the bike park then 4 days in the surrounding trails. REI adventures has a very reasonably priced package trip that includes 2 guides which I highly recommend. And...I’ve never been so scared on what we rode and somehow survived. Never ridden more wood features, both uphill and downhill tech and even a 45 min hike a bike to get to a famous downhill run. Sweating just thinking about it. Haha

@@BlindstuffMTB Sweet thanks man. What would you say are the pros and cons if you don't mind me asking?
@BlindstuffMTB4 жыл бұрын
@@dlaps9975 Super simple to carry, lightweight and you can point it with your head. Its a bit more immersive because you see what the rider sees, but, its harder to get the up and down alignment right (you may get too much handlebars or not enough) and its flattens out the trail vs the chest mount so everything looks easier.
