Since Simu Liu proved he can be a badass and is dedicated to the martial arts training for Shang Chi, I’d like to see him in the John Wick universe. He’d add a modern, newer generation kind of feel amongst the OG action stars (which is funny b/c he’s in his early 30s atm, way older than me, but he’s still younger than the OGs like Keanu or Donnie), which I think is a neat contrast.

I think there’s a difference between being a good actor and being a good movie star. Keanu isn’t necessarily a great actor, but he certainly has charisma and screen presence.

I think the reason John sounded so aprehensive about asking for a gun, was because the last time he asked for a gun, he got stuff all bullets. He's kinda like asking for a bit more than just a gun this time. "Can I, you know have...a gun....and a few accoutrements to go with said gun?"

So far this film has; Hiroyuki Sanada-san, Donnie Yen, Keanu, Scott Adkins, and Marko Zaror. Such a great cast of martial arts stars. At this point Jackie or Jet Li HAS to be in the 5th part to top the talent they have gotten so far. It would be awesome to find out one of them are John Wick's master.

I think Aaron is right that Donnie Yen's character is blind. When he first shoots at John Wick he isn't aiming anywhere near him, it's not until Wick fires back that Donnie knows where he is and attacks him.

Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 were renewed at the same time, shooting back to back I think unless that changed, but doesn't necessarily mean he survives this film, could be a flashback film

John Wick Chapter 5 is still happening, but due to COVID it was no longer filmed back-to-back with Chapter 4. We'll most likely get the Ballerina spin-off movie before Chapter 5.

Taran Tactical is considered pretty much a top tier competition shooter, and I'm pretty sure he's trained John Wick in all the movies. But he's not former military as far as I know. Keanu did however do a vid in which ex-Navy Seal & former CIA / DOD Shawn Ryan taught him the basics of room clearing. Don't think that was very much a long term or super extensive thing, but that plays a role in parts of the movies. On the martial arts side, he's been training BJJ & other Mixed Martial Arts with the Machado Brothers since the first movie I believe. Machado are, much like the Gracies, the staple of BJJ.

Think Jackie's talked about dialing it down in terms of doing stunts as he's aged, and he's definitely heading towards 70 at this point. And John Wick is just.. almost entirely stunts work lol. Plus, Jackie's style doesn't exactly fit the series unfortunately.

I'd love it as well, but I think that Jackie Chan injuring his body as many times as he has has taken a toll on his capabilities, especially in his older age, although he was alright in Vanguard (2020) but not at the level one would want or expect from him.

Maybe 8 years ago when the first movie came out, but I just googled it, and Jackie's about to be 69 soon. It's amazing he's been able to do what he's been best at for so long and really didn't even consider slowing down until he reached his 60s.

The John Wick film series is like an action book novel..come to life..Evry “chapter”..U get more & more..More back story..& of course, more friggn bone crunchng action (which has been friggn exhaustng to me..I LOVE it..but Im so exhaustd aftr watchng a John Wick movie..& my bad football knees can practically feel the characters’ bones shatterng)...I dont know if U guys hav gone to see it yet..But pay attention to the great homage to the ‘79 NYC gang fightng, cult film classic “The Warriors”..for the last half hour.. 45 mins of the film..Vry cool indeed..& Donnie Yen was great..As was martial arts action star Scott Adkins..He had som prety good mobility in that “fat suit” they put on him..
