tbf I kinda loved GT Moustache Vegeta who was kinda full on dad mode dealing with his daughter being a normal teen who doesnt train her whole life and her life doesnt revolve around fighting so shes just this normal girl who happens to be half saiyan (which with Super being a saiyan is like being a god lol)

About the hypothetical example of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, you wouldn't have to quit your job, family etc. at all. The whole point of the chamber is that on the outside, only 1 day will pass, so you could just go in on a Sunday and do whatever you want to do for a year. Then come back on Monday like nothing happened.

The problem is that the chamber using up a whole year is too much of a downside but for saiyans (and half saiyans I presume?) the 1 year isn't really a factor. A most equivalent question would be if you had a chamber that let you go in for a month and it only a minute passed outside what would you do?

I don't know if anybody else brought this up but I was watching dragon ball z and during the buu saga (or babidi can't remember for sure) bulma and the rest of the secondary characters where looking for the dragon balls and when one of them went underwater, they asked 18 if she could go and get it and she told them that water and her don't go well together, basically saying that because she's partly mechanical she can't go in water. So odds are the androids simply can't go underwater. The arbidged just makes it even clearer. I know she said she doesn't do well in water atleast. Unsure if that means she can't go in water at all however.

Almost caught up with the episodes so far, with little videos still left to watch , if you want. They did the joke with "Void" in this one and I started wondering why it didn't happen when Trunks said it in an earlier episode (either they forgot or hadn't thought of it...or it just wants Goku there for it to work). There is actually a dbz abridged abridged. It's called DBZ Kai abridged. Basically shortens a season or half a season into a single episode length.

If you want something to continue the "Abridged" reactions, there is a series (it's not that far yet, only 7 episodes) that is "Sword Art Online Abridged". It's a cool one and it doesn't need THAT much background knowledge, you only need to know this is a manga/anime series based on the idea of players being trapped in a full virtual reality (VR) MMORPG. It's quite funny.

They didn't really create a reason why the androids didn't swim, Android 16 has his head broken, exposed and malfunctioning mechanical parts...it doesn't need to really be focused on why swimming is a bad idea. The real thing they added here was why 18 didn't decide to ditch 16, besides him trying to fight Cell off, she has had no reason to care about the guy.

I think the appeal of the hyperbolic time chamber is the fact that you can do all that stuff (work out, write a book, etc.) in there; and it would be only one day out here. Like do that stuff on a regular basis, and it'll take about a year or two; do it in there, your one year older, but its only been a day or two out here. You go in normal, come out with like 20 finished novels, jacked beyond levels of gains, and a master at whatever else you went in for; and the best part is you can still make it to dinner, and continue doing that stuff.

After tomorrow when you guys are done with episode 50, I think you should just continue to watch the normal DBZ series and do a reaction to them. I can tell Calvin is interested in the story and it would be torture for him to have to wait like 2-3+ months per episode just to see what happens next, and I really want to see his reaction to the rest of the Cell Saga (especially the final fight with Cell). Of course when the new episodes of DBZ Abridged comes out, you can watch those but I'm only suggesting this since I feel it would be to hard or annoying for him to have to wait so long per episode when he wants to know what happens.

Dud stop trying to be deep and crap. The chamber allows you to achieve a years worth of whatever in 1 day. Therefore the only person that is affected is you. You are lonely for a year but your loved ones are lonely for a day. You could master an instrument or two. Lean a whole new language, or get crazy swole. Heck, could probably do all three in that time. There is virtually no down side accept you are a year older when you get out. Totally worth it.
