Its cool how almost every song in Enema was heavily influenced by their favorite bands/friends. This is soooo Face to Face for example! Try to imagine it with Trever from Face to Face singin it or Scott Shiflett nailing the bassline. Same goes for Wendy Clear, they stated that they were trying to sound like their friends MxPx.

I think it's about a guy and a girl, obviously, who were both in love. And the guy just couldn't escape his past, so to speak, and it ruined them.
