Really wish we knew what Enema of the State would have sounded like with Scott on drums. Anyone who says that he can't do the fills necessary to bring Blink to superstardom either is Scott-hating/Travis-loving or simply never saw Blink during this era. The man was a beast and could have played more fills if he wanted; he chose to play this way because they were a skate punk band at this time.
@simplebutnotsolongname66422 жыл бұрын
Scott’s literally the prime example of Nipping a bud before it Blooms. So much potential and criminally underrated as a musician. The only examples of pop-punk we got from him after Dammit is Mutt and I Won’t Be Home for Christmas. And as Much as I love Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch as they are, Scott and even Mark and Tom would’ve been even more appreciated as musicians had those albums benefited from better Production and Mixing.

Any guitar nerds in here? I'm really curious what guitar Tom is using from 28:35 onwards. He switches from the "classic" white stratocaster covered in stickers to a different white stratocaster. The classic one he uses in the first half of the set has a white (slightly tilted) humbucker in the bridge position and two black single coil humbuckers in the middle and neck position. The guitar he starts using at 28:35 has a black humbucker that is not tilted and two white single coils in the middle and neck position. Also the stickers are different. Does anyone have more information on that stratocaster? What humbucker is on there, et cetera. Thanks if anyone knows!
@HiddenCactus333 ай бұрын
That's his backup for this era, it is a 1997 American Strat with a seymour duncan invader in the bridge position and stock single coils.
@Guoy3 ай бұрын
