I love Mark and Tom but they both have a bit of an ego. Travis on the other hand, he's a real dude. No bs, just music and good vibers.

He just wants to drum, and share his gift (he IS amazingly talented) but I've never warmed to him and idk why? I'm such a bleeding heart, but even the plane felt like it didn't count? I'm 100% open to be this showing me to toughen up. I don't know why I can't relate to him at all.

How did he get the snare sounds? Were there triggers set up on his drum set so that he could trigger the snare hits? I'm guessing that's how he did it live since his arm/hand is broken here.

They could have been very big, but I think he thought they already were. You can tell when their guitar guy on the left gets no kind of hey this is our guitar player there was just time to give props and mark just didn't. This was a successful personal endeavor that didn't take a turn

junior high @ the time and remember buying the pink version of the album cover. travis the main reason i hopped behind a drum kit, marks vocals and lyrics on this album is timeless. every song was different and memorable. good times.

I don't remember if they did the AOL session before or after I saw them in New York, but seeing Travis play live with one arm was really something. I think there was only one fill across the whole concert that he couldn't physically do. Such a talented dude.

in some parts he does if he's not hitting the cymbals frequently. answering your question he's using a reverse kick pedal to hit another snare drum near his hi-hats
