Oooooooooohhhh Love this!!!!!! I've been trying to build a Kardur blink deck as my very first Commander deck for weeks! Clearly I am a noob because this deck blows mine out of the water!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

If you like jank and don't care about winning I suggest Cruel Entertainment: play or copy kardur and force everyone to attack, then play cruel entertainment and enjoy as two players have to figure out how to screw the other player the most by playing in the least optimal way. Even funnier if you have only 3 players which means the other two are basically forced to attack their own selves.

As a fan of the jank, huge shout to add Eater of Days to this deck. Play it at your end step after casting Kardur and his ETB is in effect for three turns around the table

Recently got the precon, and love the suggestions. I went a slightly different route, i went with a force sacrifice and curses for my add ins, but this is still pretty good suggestions even a year later

@edhjankcenter originally I picked up Insurrection (untap all tapped and take control with haste, figured everything SHOULD be tapped after attacking) so this gave me a second option. Question. If I play kardur and he gets shot down before an opponents turn are their creatures still forced to attack? 2nd question: done any deck techs on facedown cards?

@@beckerg04 answer 1: yes! once the effect resolves it’s valid until your next turn even if kardur gets killed. IF it does though, you do not get the second ability at all answer 2: no I have not but I can definitely look into it 🤔

The only reason I've never built this deck was because I already had a karona deck that did something similar. Rakdos best guild though

I love both this deck and your video style -- Help me out on the deck list if you would; Whats the combo/use of the Omen Machine? Also I usually dont run Planeswalkers unless I can keep them safe, and this deck can decently let one thrive, so I might test adding one of the (many) Liliana's to the deck, speifically for more Kardur recurring. Or maybe Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools; as a another sacrifice and card draw engine?

thanks so much man!! the reason I included Omen Machine in the list is the idea of tempting my opponents to play dope amazing stuff for free, then out of nowhere blinking Kardur to make them attack each other with their cool stuff. hope that clears things up! it’s janky, but I quite like it as an include :)

Does Kardurs second ability only take effect when it enters the battlefield or do you always gain life and opponent loose life when attacking creature dies, if Kardur is on the field.

that ability is static and doesn't rely on Kardur entering! as long as Kardur is on the field, that second ability is active

I have a question. with blade of selves equipped on him , does his 2nd ability trigger because of his copy die by legend rule while attacking and does his copy also trigger the 2nd ability too? If this work that's a lot of damage!

karudr very much synergizes with blade of selves! belive since the token copies come in tapped and attacking, it would trigger Kardur's first ability. and I think that it also synergizes with the second ability! since the token copies have to ETB before the legend rule kicks in

@@edhjankcenter So that's mean if I play in gruop of 4 players, I will make 3 copy of Kardur get the ETB then 3 of them die while attacking and trigger 2nd ability 4 times (4 Kardur ) =12 damage to all and + 4 damage to the player I attack, NICE!
